Handmade Wreaths for our French Chateau | Day 5

Laura is old friend of mine, we use to live in same village in England, I am a florist and have had 4 shops but retired now and enjoy having holidays in France in our motor home, this September we were able to meet up with Laura at a garden centre at Rannes. I have watched your u tube ever since you started and enjoy and look forward to them every week, wishing you a very happy Christmas and a good new year.

I so enjoy watching Terry and his mom, Tracy talking and laughing! They appreciate each other's strengths (and quirks). I also laughed at Ash's comment to Tracy about her son being picky or difficult - in a good joking manner:) Beautiful wreaths and foliage on the front gates, too!

You have all learned a new craft, not only for Christmas but you can make wreaths for Harvest, Easter etc. and have workshops. The wreaths look lovely on the Chataeu and gates. Welk done all. 💕🇦🇺

My daughter daughter in law granddaughter and cousin made pine wreaths, They turned out great and our garage smelled like Christmas. Nice memory

What a transformation! Last year the lights in the windows showed the Grand Lady breathing again but this year she is standing tall, and her heart is racing! The view from the new gate and drive is absolutely spectacular! By next year she will be singing at the top of her lungs! Thank you all for working so hard to her back from the brink and sharing it with all of us!

To start off I really really really like the music at the beginning. And seeing Terry behind bars as if in jail because he was naughty... so funny. Looking good, can't wait to see what you do with the lights this year. Terry- Next time you want to put a wreath up like that, simply drop a weighted length of string or cord down, attach the wreath and pull it up. You can also use a second piece of string on the bottom of the wreath so it can be held away from the wall or guided whilst it's pulled up. Easy!

Wreaths are all so pretty! I used to make a 5ft round one for the front of our house, using cedar, something that grows like crazy here in Central Texas….it was always fun to get it together and to decorate it with different trimmings. The Chateau is looking very Merry!

Looking beautiful and festive. I am sure the neighbors are enjoying it. Looking close up at your marvelous gates and hand rails, my wish list for your new year is to see that same white paint on the porch roof covering ironwork with a glass or canvas covering, a pressure wash and repointing of the main steps and painting the shutters. I think the house would shine year round with those few items. Merry Christmas to you all and a most blessed new year.
