Looking at this beautiful Chateau all lit up I was thinking the same.. it would really put the frosting on the cake. Two candles in each window.. one each side! This is so exciting to see. I live in an old New Englander in the USA and my Christmas decorating starts November first! Inside and outside lights but not complete without the candle lights in the windows

Awnings, shutters, fences, gates etc probably aren't very high on the priority list if they are planning on opening the b&b by 2026 😅 They will most certainly be done at some point and will indeed uplift the exterior to new heights, but yeah, all in good time ☺️

I love the wreath on the gate, it’s beautiful. For years I’ve made a 5 ft wreath for the front wall of our house, started with using real cedar branches, and in my old age have gone to store bought wreath, it’s always fun expressing your creativity and it also brings people joy when they see all the lights and decorations. Your Chateau’s looking like a fairy tale wonderland ready for Christmas.

Beautifully done so far. Can’t wait to see all the decorations up. Helpful hint maybe…save your empty Christmas wrapping paper tubes. When Christmas is over, wrap your tree sting light around the tubes. They will never be tangled up again.

Anne & Andrew's wreath is a work of art! What a fantastic gift. So very special. While you have already dived into Christmas, here in the US we have Thanksgiving between Halloween & Xmas. It is my favorite yearly celebration as it brings friends and family together at an abundant feast that has been contributed to by everyone. I've already started on the cranberry relish and the bourbon chocolate balls are next. Sharing food with loved ones is the best! After that, we start on Christmas and.....more bourbon balls! Meanwhile I'll keep loving watching your family and friends beautify the chateau. Love and hugs from NYC.

@siameseire I sort of broke the agreement when Christmas ornaments were in the isle next to Jack O' lanterns. I haven't physically put anything up yet but retailers take the heart out of the holidays so they can get that jump. I seriously wish there was a law🤭 Even if it was, no holiday sales at least until a week before Thanksgiving. Happy Holidays!
