I have been to the the Bagatelle Rose Gardens, what a fabulous treat to see again. We went in June and it was overwhelming. We missed the fabulous Castle because of smelling Roses! Your vlogs are fab.

I have two chairs like Bonnie was sitting in, except in Gold! They are super comfortable! Given to us by my great- aunt, and have always loved them so much! But now in upstairs bedroom, for comfort when family can come to visit. Love antiques! Love all you purchase, and enjoy the shopping sprees and seeing the Chateau looking so lovely!!! You are so lucky to have two Chateaus. But know this one is really for Isabella, if i understand it correctly, as she wanted a 'smaller one"> ? So lucky to have you and Simon as her parents, and you are lucky to have her as a daughter. She is a lovely young woman! We do not have a daughter! Wish we did, but we do not. But , we do have two grown sons! They ae very god young men and very industrious. One works at construction, with larger homes, and fixing the roofs etc of homes inside and out.. lol Mostly mansions. A resort type area. for people who have larger homes. He has some people who work under him. He works hard and wants it done right, Our other son , does shipping/ receiving and other business with a large company, But love every episode and you do have good taste. (Love the way Bonnie really needed to get the feel first of the chair , and be sure it is what she wanted, very important! ) Simon works so hard too and has other work to be done and with his' trusting friend at his side ' he can take on it all while home! lol TY for sharing all you do with us!

You can use watered down Annie Sloan chalk paint to freshen up a dingy lamp shade, I used a cream paint on a burlap textured lamp shade and it worked. Thinking about painting the inside with a golden paint next. Or copper. Or even a silver paint.

There is no way you can pass up those items. I love to go to thrift and resale stores. We have some good ones in Houston, I'm always looking for Waterford crystal. I watch a lot of chateau videos and I never seen Waterford when then go to thrift stores. Do they not buy or collect Waterford in France?

You’re absolutely right! When we lived in the U.K., Waterford was everywhere, but here in France Baccarat, St. Louis, cristofle, even Cristal d’Arques seem to be the main ones. 🏰💖
