When you switch timeframe from 15 minutes to 1 hour, it makes your strategy applies to 4 years of data instead of 1 year. The asset dropped 55.37% over 1 year but increased 914.51% over 4 years. We can only say that the strategy can beat buy&hold but it doesn't give you a positive return in a negative market. It will be interesting to see if we reverse the strategy and do short trading using recent market data.

Hey Xavier! Thanks for the comment. We'd encourage you to dig into the individual entires on this strategy a bit more! You'll find that in the past year, alone, this strategy has yielded 6 winning trades for nearly +68% profit and 7 losing trades that, in total, accounted for about a -29% loss. The first parameter defined in the entry (sma 50>sma 200) helps define a positive trend, so the strategy tends to stay out of the market during long duration down trends.

Hi, I’m new as new can get here.I’m curious of the strategy for gains sake and would like a, “do it for me type deal”. I’ll create a trend spider account and fund it, will this plug and play strategy work just like that and even if I could add more trade moves for potential steals and deals…😊?
