Margit isn't mandatory since you only have to kill two shardbearers before you can kill Morgott, which gets rid of the Margit fight. You have access to like four shardbearers before Leyndell (which are Godrick, Renalla, Radahn, and Rykard). Plus Godrick isn't mandatory either and there are many ways to get to Altus and Liurnia

You don't have to beat Margit to access the Roundtable Hold site of grace. You just need to sit at the site of grace near the Limgrave map and then Melina talks to you about Torrent, then move to the grace site just before Margit. Then that's it, free passage to the Hold

This video is very interesting for how the AI behaves and deals with the fact that it has no knowledge about elden ring. Its knowledge dates back to 2021 but instead of telling you it doesn’t know anything about the game it just makes stuff up endlessly until you give it information about the game it can actually use or it gets something kinda right out of pure luck. This rlly isn’t how a AI should behave bc when it comes to other things it could spread false information and actively hurt us. I might be reading a bit to much into it but it’s still a very interesting video because of it. Edit: it also uses knowledge about darksouls
