Japanese construction company named Hazama built this hotel in 1996.I went to this hotel almost everyday to over see the painting of the entire hotel.

Looks like a winner. Good to see you took a little piece of Canadiana along on your trip, however, the temperature and scenery were somewhat different than they were in Lake Louise. How far away was the resort from the airport? Once again an excellent and entertaining video.

Yah, both Lakeside hotels... I wanna visit Lake Louise again in summer - see the beautiful turquoise waters and maybe kayak - Lake Louise frozen over in May when I went. And Lake Louise 100 miles from Calgary Airport, this place about 10 miles...

Lee Claxton Yah connecting room. Like if travel as a group - or family of 4 - parents in one room, kids in other room. You really are a Shangri La fan, me too... 5 star places Yangon all about the same price - about 150 pounds a night. Have you checked out The Shard Shangri La, London (starts at 500 quid a night - that's expensive)... where I'm staying next time London. Just to see...

SirStamford27 I live 5 minute walk from Hotel Jen, see it every day - a construction site til about a month ago. Operate under Traders/Shangri La brand. Most expensive room 200 quid a night; Lee always wants me to do a Shangri La Singapore video - reasonable room about 400 quid a night. Got a visit to Taj Mahal and Delhi planned in 2 weeks; after that, will show you the 2 Singapore Shangri La hotels... thanx ;-)

SirStamford27 I'll make a video next month. Its basically Somerset MRT subway station below, a shopping mall about 5 floors on ground, then about 10 floors of hotel above. Good location, centre of Orchard Road. Btw, are you really a Sir - like a Knight and Queen etc...
