I can't remember the last time I had a flavourless Pink Shrimp sweet but Fruit Salads were my fave, along with Rainbow Drops. You've started something now !

I think you can get a lot of these “classic” sweets from Amazon. I always wanted those cakes that were like a chocolate sponge, with a rock hard chocolate top in a silver wrapper. Remember them?

@@heyholetstow Thanks that would be great. We are looking at changing our caravan so are really interested in people's experiences. Now there's just the 2 of us and 2 labs we are looking to downsize to either a swift basecamp or a bailey discovery D-2. Keep up the hard work 😁

@@heyholetstow we tow with our vw campervan which we love. However we generally don't take the dogs when we go in the van so we just want something small and easy to tow for slightly longer trips away. 😁

Yea, first it’s Bakewell, which was a bit busier, and the on to Baslow which is a bit quainter

Sorry to say the Bakewell Tart is not original you should have gone for the Bakewell Pudding it has no icing, it"s lovely when warm and with a little custard, you should have turned left out of the secret door towards Baslow, it would have been a safer route & walk past Cavandish hotel to the play park 👍

We like the ones with the icing though. Ah, we quite enjoyed the gauntlet though 😀

We were there earlier in the year but stayed at Greenhills which is about 5 mins from Chatsworth, private site and cheaper that Chatsworth. Maybe it's not as good a site? Depends what you want, it has a bar and a play area though... Lovely vlog, Bakewell is nice. BTW I prefer the icing one's too, sod the passing, that's Northerns only stuff that....

Ha. Site was nice but expensive as you say and the kids playground was out of action which was annoying as there wasn’t an area for the kids to congregate. Welcome fellow northerner
