Thank you for making this video. I rode the course for the first time doing the 144 and plan to do this again. I use this video daily to re-familiarize myself with the course. Sincerely…. Thank you.

Absolutely welcome. Roads a superb. Only hard part is Andrews(mile 26) and then the 2 miles leaving Chicamauga can be where you have to push. Good luck!

Amazing, thanks for sharing this! I raced last year on last year's course, but seeing some familiar spots around Chattanooga brought some nostalgia! A regular speed one would be sweet! Although, likely still much faster than me haha

I think it's the same portion from last year, if it is... you bet yer ass I got off the saddle at 20:05 - that hill was killer lol

FarFromElite so glad you like it. I have one that’s regular speed that I’m going to post. I just realized last night watching this version that I want to see distance covered. Any other stats you think that would be helpful?
@TriJoeTV4 жыл бұрын
FarFromElite also, that’s Andrews and no matter how strong a biker is, you have to be ready for that thing. My wife broke her hanger on it. I dropped my chain the first year on it. It’s a beast. Lol
@EhBough4 жыл бұрын
@@TriJoeTV I think adding distance covered to the existing stats would be perfect!

What camera setup did you use to make the video look soooo smooth ? I was looking at the video of Waco 2023 bike (that another youtuber put up) and it almost made me throw up because his camera bounces so much. Also thanks for the video! Really helped me and my team conquer the bike course and the Andrews climb this past Sunday! 😊

Oh heck yeah. I did this with my GoPro 8 about 4 years ago. They’re even better now. Congratulations on the race!

This is great! With the speed and hill meters on the screen, this helps me get ready. Definitely would like to see 1x speed to see how well I do compared to yours
@TriJoeTV3 жыл бұрын
Let me see if I can find the video and post it at 1x speed. I think I was around 2:50 on the road bike. Glad you liked the video. Might try and get one of the swim on the SUP when it gets warmer.

Thanks for video man, helps a lot!!! I saw someone mentioned a big hill at around minute 20:05. Other than that, it seems mostly rolling, right? Or would you say there are other hills that can break up some "packs"?
@TriJoeTV Жыл бұрын
Andrews is right at mile 26. Be ready for it cause you’ll be mostly flying. There’s a smaller hill out of chicamauga but it’s short.

What mile does that long (3-5%) up the hill after Chickamauga begin, the one right before that fast descent?
@TriJoeTV Жыл бұрын
It’s right out of chickamauga. It’s actually not bad and it’s only 3-5% for 25 yards. The rest is just a false flat and slow 1% grade. I’d say around 40 miles in.

Hello, I'm from ND and want take a week off and ride in Chattanooga this summer. From my research online the best road courses are Moccasion Loop, Suck Creek, Flintstone and Chickamauga Battlefield. Can you suggest which one would be most ideal for a visitor not familiar with the area? If possible please give me a physical location so I can find a hotel nearby for my stay. Thanks.

Quick question during the swim can you see in the water? Is it completely dark or can you at least see your hands ? Ty
@TriJoeTV Жыл бұрын
Hand goes in and you can’t see the edge of it. It’s brown water. Don’t worry tho, it’s a peaceful swim. It’ll be the best swim of your life.
