The city has a policy to maintain a ratio of green space to city space. It borders the Cumberland Trail and the Appalachian Trail, so there are numerous places for rock climbing. Clubs and associations built around climbing routes in the area.

Tennessee politicians (both parties) are responsible for collapsing much of the hospitality industry in the state, including Chattanooga, under the guise of protecting us from ourselves. This is includes restaurants, bars, pubs, and live venues. Their excuse is the Wuhan flu. However, you can still find it, just not as much.
