Attaching Presser Feet to the Janome MC9450

Kim, you saved me again! Today I wanted to attach the HP2 foot to the 9450 I bought last week. The Instruction Booklet that came with the machine was very vague. I found one site that advised this is difficult, and many people have trouble with it, so you should ask your dealer to show you how. Well, it is Saturday, and I would have been very unhappy if I had to wait to ask my dealer on Monday. Thank you for this video! I would recommend that Janome show a picture of the back of the machine where the hook fits in like you did. Love your videos!

Thank you, Kim! The manual that came with the machine has no index, or instructions that I could find. I once, accidentally almost, got the QO foot attached properly but couldn't figure out how to do it again when I needed to several months later.

Great video with good close up’s, can you explain about the 3 triangle button with the accufeed feet? I just saw something about it on FB and I knew nothing about it I guess. Your videos have been very helpful and I do really enjoy this machine.

That is to activate the Acufeed Flex system and is used with the AD (walking foot) or HP2 foot on the Janome MC9450.

Thanks again for another great video Kim! Is it necessary to identify on the cpu screen that you've attached the walking foot? Do you know what I mean?

You do need to activate the AcuFeed Flex system by pressing on the icon for it on the display, yes.
