I felt that so hard on the Fire Emblem figures, I couldn’t really care for Engage, but would set my wallet on fire for a Dimitri or other Three Houses figures. (If you haven’t yet, I do highly recommend the Veronica one from Heroes. I just got her and she’s gorgeous, one of the best recent Fire Emblem figures to date!)

For me wedding figures are so hit or miss mainly bc i love a dramatic floor length gown but lots seem to cut them off at the ankles 😅

I mainly follow articulated figures and action figures. It's interesting to see that Chinese manufacturers are making big in roads into that space as well. They may not have the big licenses but the sculpts are amazing, the quality is great with lots of paint, and you get more for your money.

I'm with you on that Dimitri scale figure but I do preordered Alear cause (unpopular opinion) I love her design lol. I do think that she's overpriced and will probably tank in the aftermarket but I just can't help it hahaha

its so egregious how badly expensive figures are becoming nowadays.. it blows my mind to see a figure that looks like 60$ at most be priced at 300$... characters w basic costumes and poses matching up to prices of highly detailed ones.... its becoming very hard to continue being interested in figures in the future

Thanks for your video! I feel you, when it comes to shelf space. It feels like everyone wants elaborate bases or the manufactures make figures that need unnecessary much space, while I prefere small bases so that I can display more characters I like / awesome figures in my tiny flat 😅

I feel your frustration. I feel like figures are growing exponentially in price. Sometimes i just don't understand why the price tag. It feels almost arbitrary. Even those gorgeos 1/4 kimono fugures are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overprice and breaks my heart because i want them. I saw a very good video about how overprice they are. =::::::( But on the other side none scale are getting better with quality i feel. Still some are hit or miss, but over all i see a trend. At this point i am so close to jump into GK and just build and paint my own just so i don't have to pau some retail prices here. hahahaha Anyhow, love your videos, glad to see you uploading again

I finally bit the bullet and pre-ordered my first scale anime figure :) I went with Yukino Yukinoshita: Light Novel Volume 6 Cover Illustration Ver. 1/6 PVC Figure and I am blown away each time I see the pictures of her. The attention to detail to capture her character and, more than any other figure of her to date, really capture her character so perfectly. Sadly not going to release until early next year, but couldn't be happier :) Decided to pre-order from an Australian store as the cost (after shipping) was going to be comparable to AmiAmi anyway. Not watched the whole video yet as I've had to save it to watch later together with my wife :)

Pop up Parade is releasing an XL size figure of the giant girl from Seven Deadly Sins and it looks AWESOME!! It is about $200 USD so I am debating on whether to preorder or not.... Even though they are smaller in size I really love the detail in Pop Up Parade figures and the price isn't too bad. Right now I have Vanilla from Nekopara, Mami from Madoka Magica, and Mash Kyrielight from the Fate series. I also have a $12 Pop up Parade figure on the way and the price is outrageously good for the quality of the figure!! Sadly I cannot afford some of the more expensive scale figures so I try to stay content with some of the "cheaper" ones 😂

Tha Ina (Ninomae) nendoroid is so cute! I love how they made her a deluxe release with her tentaculs too :3 So you can choose, if you want to pay more for the tentaculs or you are good with the base nendoroid which you showed. Also, have fun with Persona 3 Reload, It's my favorite game from my school days. The Elizabeth kotobukiya figure is so good, but only with the extra face. I did pre-ordered it with the extre face plate, which will hurt me and my wallet, but that is the real Elizabeth expression. I would not buy the figure without it QAQ

I love Alear so I want her figure, but when I think about that price tag and how I have figures like Apex’s Ningguang, eStream’s Megumin, or my most expensive purchase of MegaHouse’s Dialga & Palkia Spear Pillar statue I got for about ¥33K I look at that price for her and wonder if she’s anywhere close to equivalent for that, and the answer is just no. She’ll tank in the aftermarket since people are bitter about the game, and then I’ll get her at a price that makes actual sense like 8-9K less.

Good Smile Racing team do win races. In fact, they did a sale two years ago in celebration of their victory at the SUPER GT Round5 SUZUKA event held at the end of August 2022. Some thoughts of figures shown in this video: - I love the Ina Nendoroid and have her DX version (with the tentacles) pre-ordered. I can't wait for her release. - Bunny Pekora? I am already buying Kimono Pekora, so I will have to pass. - Strawberry Shortcake is too cute. I must stay strong. - The prices of new Fire Emblem figures just keep going up. I am good. - Figures that presume real estate is free: 100%. I will say they are good for the lowest shelf of unelevated cabinets, as you can still see their faces standing up.
