I'm subscribed to both your channels, and you are both awesome! I am example of a person who's approached music from the other way around. I have minimal music education, have some talent and have always been more interested in composing than performing, so I'm working my way back from pure inspiration, to putting it into a DAW (bypassing music notation), then learning musical theory (melody, harmony, modulation, orchestration and tons of other things the rest of you learn first) then going down to what is even possible or practical (in terms of actually performing it on an instrument) and at the end putting it all on paper in notation (if I even get to that point)... Interesting isn't it? Technology making it possible to start from practice, and working your way back to theory (as needed). It seems wrong and somewhat blasphomous but there you have it :D
