Alright, it's probably the best episode of CWN I've seen, and. I've probably watched 90% of them, all of them great, with some absolutely fabulous episodes. You're just pushing the limits, man. Such a nice hangout with great people and good fun, not just reminiscing your recent trip to Ireland, but actually talking about so many different books I literally kept checking them on Goodreads. My TBR is f...ed now, haha.

Great conversation! Love Storytoob! If you guys are going to Gettysburg you’ve got to watch the movie of the same name, if you haven’t seen it before. It’s VERY historically accurate and was filmed on the actual battlefield. For me being able to visit the battle site having watched the movie of those armies fighting and dying on that very ground was almost a spiritual experience. Highly recommend! Also Jimmy the movie is based on The Killer Angels by Michael Shaara, which if my memory serves I think you read and enjoyed.

Just finished it and echoing what everyone else says, this was a lot of fun and great to unwind to. You can tell how close you all are. From my one Tana French read I think you're both right: she's an incredible author but the mystery each book is about never feels as interesting as the characters or situations or prose. I read her debut, In the Woods, and it has one of the best prologues I've ever read next to Clive Barker's Coldheart Canyon for quickly setting up a mood in like 2-3 pages and it drives me nuts she hasn't done as she's mentioned in interviews and written a full novel about the past event described in that prologue.

They seem great, just subscribed! If you want an excellent history book about an Irish revolutionary poet writing exile that became a general in the American Civil War...give The Immortal Irishman a try. One of my favorites all time, to me it reads like a novel.

All the years I was bangin Irish Car Bombs I never put 2 and 2 together......damn that name is a bit offensive. lol. Unfortunately my kids wanted to see Meh(Red) One this night and I had to pretend I liked it for my kids sake. Missing this stream made me hate that movie even more. This was fun.
