And I never really considered that there was people riding on the looks of “the Annabeth they grew up with,” I always thought the complaint about the lack of blonde hair in the first movie is merely just a symptom of the far cry from the original source material the movie was as an adaptation.

I love how Leah answered the training question. Instead of physical sword and combat training like most people would think, she spoke about training her mind for the character of Annabeth to best portray the character. I think this really speaks to the priorities of the cast that the most intensive training to them is character studying, because that's how much they value keeping the integrity of the characters.

Leah has such a mature sounding, well-spoken, voice, I love it! The first time I'd heard her speak was in the new trailer that just came out, and I am so excited to see her as Annabeth! I feel like she'll really capture Annabeth SO well, I've been excited to see her since the beginning, and now we're in the run-up to the show, and I've been watching interviews, and past projects of all the actors... my hype for this show has truly never been higher.

It's interesting how the vibe massively changes when Leah is in the middle. She channeled her Annabeth and carried the interview so well. We usually see Walker in the middle and Leah got sidelined a bit (no one's fault, let's not start anything) because she looks like the type who has a lot to say but struggles to put the right words. But here, look at her, she bejeweled!

See this is what im excited about. Getting to see the actors and characters age up every year, which we didnt get with the movies. Just seeing the trio in the trailers and in this interview you can really see how much theyve grown in the year and a half since filming. We haven't even seen season 1 and im already hyped for a season 2,3,4 and 5 and beyond.

Look, honestly, when I first learned about the casting, I was extremely excited! I saw Leah, Walker, and Aryan and I loved them! BUT, when I knew that they won't be changing their hair colors, I honestly felt a bit sad. It's not about the skin color, I'm all good for Leah casted as Annabeth coz she's wonderful and she looks hella cool too, like she can kick-ass real monsters. And her voice, soooo well-spoken. Also, I loved the baby Walker in the Adam Project. He had Percy's sass and I'm all for it. But yeah. At first, I just couldn't seem to wrap my head around a blonde Percy and black-haired Annabeth. For the eyes though, totally understand coz contact lenses can cause too much sensitive stuff. And then they changed Luke's hair too! It made me wonder what they'll do with Jason Grace and Hazel Levesque. Goodddss. BUT, they've grown on me. The more I watched the trailers, it's sort of coming together and I bet they've given a lot of hard-work for the show. Also, uncle Rick's overseeing it so that's the best! Sooooo excited to the point that I bought a new CHB shirt.
