I am SO glad you did talk at length about the London hotel incident. My sister leaves tomorrow for a 6 week solo European trip and I bought her the portable door lock you mentioned. She's older than you (we both are!) but that doesn't mean she won't be a target for someone, not necessarily human trafficking. Just safety in general while alone in the UK, Ireland, France, Italy and Switzerland. I told her and the rest of the family about your experience and why I bought it for her, and she was super thankful that I was looking out for her safety and is glad I saw your video, too. ❤

Taylor should have contacted reception on the first time she was concerned! It was wrong to waiti until the middle of the night. I did a round the world trip solo and only had issues in Vietnam. I called receptionist early on in the evening. Not defending the hotel at Heathrow, but this is really not typical

I am still so shocked by the hotels lack of proper and decent response to this whole thing. You should be so proud of yourself for how strong you've been and also that you're not letting them get away with it. Thank you for telling us which hotel it was, it is now on my NO-Go list. I just cannot understand how it all went down unless the hotel was involved and knew this was happening, I just don't. I had to do self defense classes in my country because our crime rate is quite high. I thought it was a waste of money but it really came in handy on my last overseas trip. It was terrifying but all off a sudden my mind kicked in and the perp ran off quite shocked and very bruised in some places 😏 you can actually get this little Alam like box(use double sided tape) to stick it on windows or sliding doors and when it's armed (or you haven't disarmed it) it triggers off an incredible alarm the will stop any further movement. Believe me the entire hotel will be awake in seconds😂 and it's so cheap. I live in South Africa and if I'm putting prices on the item I'd say it's like 5 dollars and super light to carry in your luggage. Awesome blog💕

What you said about front desk people being paid off to give perps key cards to rape someone or even kidnap is exactly what I immediately thought about your experience! If you love to see places thru the eyes of someone who has never been there then I would be a great travel friend! I've not been to too many places in the U.S., never out of the country. You know, after watching the video w/the incident, I surmised the front desk guy was prob in cohoots with the guys outside your room, hence no answer at the front desk for SO long.... probably a heckuva racket for him to earn some extra $$. I’m so sorry how much this has impacted you but I just really appreciate you sharing. I know it just adds to the burden but I’m staying a Radisson hotel for a work trip and I’m going to be extra vigilant. So glad my husband will be there with me but still. Definitely buying all the things to be safe. You’ve saved lives by being open. I know that sounds ridiculous but you did. Just caught up on the hotel situation via your twitter, and I'm so furious on your behalf, and behalf of women everywhere! It seems pretty much impossible that the people working at the hotel weren't involved in the incident, and their absolute lack of response to such a terrible situation is disgusting! I'm not really a proponent of Tiktok because I already spend way too much time on social media, but it definitely seems worth it to me to release this story in every avenue possible, and Tiktok would be sure to get it out everywhere. Make them famous. And the rest of us can vote with our dollars, by not giving that dreadful company a single penny ever.

If you love Spain, please consider visiting Portugal! You will love it! It’s a place filled with history, amazing food and drinks and it’s overall cheaper and more chilled than Spain. I’m Portuguese so I’m 100% not biased 😂 it’s really demoralising to know the lack of response from the hotel but please don’t give up Taylor. What happened to you was a very serious situation. Speaking of meeting randomly, I met my best friend of over 30 years because I had emergency brain surgery. I had to take a semester off of college because I had a long recovery. which meant that I had to retake the classes I missed. In the Fall, I met a guy in class and we became friends. We thought it would be funny to introduce his brother to a cousin of mine. She totally blew him off and we started talking. If I hadn't had that surgery I would never have met him.

I travel alone frequently. I always make the reservation for 2 ppl and when the desk clerk asks how many keys, I always say 2. I can imagine how scared you (& your family) were especially being in a foreign country. Glad you’re safe!

Absolutely agree with you about how much energy it takes to discern which events/incidents to pursue. When you live with daily pain, chronic migraine and other chronic issues just getting through the day takes so much energy. I have had to let go of things that maybe it would have been good to pursue, but I just didn't have the energy to handle. If you have any chronic issues, you will understand how much energy we spend in advocating for ourselves with the health care system. Sometimes we just are too exhausted to pursue other issues and have to let them go.

Andalucia-so beautiful. Malaga, Sevilla, Granada and Cordoba. So historic. So much fun. Flashy marbella and porto banus. The emir of qatar flying in with his entourage on his personal 747. Music by the monuments, pzrtying on the beach. And then hop over to Morocco. Drive along the coast over to portugal. I think its time to go again.

Girl next time your there go to Granada!!! I’ve been all over Spain and it literally is the most beautiful place with the best food. We got to see flamenco in a hollowed out cave and it was so cool! Highly recommend!

One of my friends in high school moved to Malaga before our junior year, so a group of friends and myself flew over for the summer after my senior year. I will never forget that summer (even though it was a while ago...). Malaga is beautiful, and I hope to return someday. If you ever find yourself in Madrid, I highly recommend Cats Hostel! It's a beautiful place with great, cheap sangria :)

We have been to southern Spain 🇪🇸 3 times now and we love it. Costa del Sol is my favourite area. My fav is Estepona, we love Malaga of course and Ronda, Granada, Nerja, frigiliana. So many gorgeous places. We are saving to buy a vacation/retirement place in the next few years. Malaga is 100% underrated and a fantastic spot to be based for other travel.

I hope you have posted a review on places sites(etc.) too. It's ok to draw attention to your experience, them ignoring you should not be the conclusion. Hold them accountable & do the same w/ us viewers, like this video, just tell us what you want from us and I bet a good portion of us will respect that.

Love your content and appreciate the work you put into it. Spain is a very scenic country. But as a minority, I would like to warn fellow minorities about severe racism experienced in Spain. I know this unfortunately goes on everywhere and not all Spaniards are this way,, but I often travel to Spain work and it's particularly bad there. Just a heads up for minorities traveling there.

In philly, I'd recommend "A La Mousse" (145 N 11th St, Philadelphia, PA 19107) if you like dessert/mousse/cake and cute little desserts. I haven't been since I used to travel annually for acroyoga training festivals, but that was a treat at the end of the trip 🤣💗 I love all of your videos, I so appreciate everything you're willing to share, and am glad you kept your time with your best friend mostly private/about the two of you hanging out and relaxing. I am so grateful that you are okay after that complete nightmare of a situation in that hotel. Thank you for sharing and updating to keep us informed and the general PSA regarding safety and being observant and as prepared as we can. 💔💗💕

OH! Something to add about philly, and it may be that it's improved, or that it was just my phone, but when I've been there, it's like a black hole for my phone's GPS, it'll tell me a route (I used to walk most places from my Airbnb out the nearby cafe, also recommend Front Street Cafe for a cute little breakfast spot/coffee/ fresh juice) and then I would follow that route, and it would just recalculate as I followed it correctly, but still manage to take me the opposite direction of where I needed to go 🤔🤷‍♀️

I’m from Philly! You have to go to the art museum and reading terminal and just walk around south Philly. It’s beautiful right now weather wise too! You should totally do a meet up🎉

Philly girl! Definitely the best part for first time visitors is the historical area (Old City): Independence Hall, The Liberty Bell, the Betsy Ross House, Elfreth’s Alley. They have walking and audio tours, strongly recommend these. Love the Philly Art Museum (the Rocky stairs). I would have said to go to the City Tavern for dinner, but it closed with the pandemic :( . There are truly lots of great eats, but my family’s favorite’s is the 4th Street Deli! Also I’m sure you’re use to this from visiting NY, but please be safe ❤

I travel alone often and I really appreciate this plus you following up with Radisson. Spain looked amazing, and the contrast from that to New York seems so fun.
