The fun thing about fall of the house of usher is all of the fun Edgar allen poe references! Also, midnight mass is incredible, if you like Flanagan, you should look into his movies like Hush and Before I Wake

Midnight mass was the first Mike Flanagan show I saw and I loved it. Its vampire, which is different from the ghosts of most of his other shows, and it centers itself in catholicism, which i grew up with, so it hit especially hard for me. I especially recommend to anyone with an interest in religious extremism horror.

I got those marshmallows for a party mix and became obsessed! I put them in a mix with cheese flavored chips and candy corn (I’m not vegan), and it was delicious. The maple sweet and cheese was oddly good together.

Pure pumpkin puree is also good for cats. The fiber helps reduce risk of hairballs. I feed my kitties some pumpkin every day.

Why is it called a red onion but a cabbage that’s the same color as the onion is called a purple cabbage
@martynabieniok9669Ай бұрын
"Purple" must be regional or something, because even Wikipedia calls it red cabbage
@sumer32Ай бұрын
The cabbage is called “red”, as well.
@lizpimentel2566Ай бұрын
We call them both red where I'm from. They're definitely NOT red though 😂
@mynamesnotjoАй бұрын
the word “purple” was not a thing until much later so anything purple was considered a shade of red
@shellyg824Ай бұрын
I think it's a regional thing? I've seen labels with "reb cabbage", "purple cabbage", "red onion", "purple onion"

Please make a detailed video on how to make kombucha! I’ve tried only once so far but really would love to be able to master it since #1 store bought kombucha is so expensive and I just enjoy making things homemade! So glad yours turned out so well and got some carbonation! Happy spooky season! 🎃🔮😊

so good for getting me into the halloween spirit!! Also my top tip for leftover pumpkin puree is to add it to your oatmeal :) I have to ration mine bc its so hard to get so when I only use half a can for a recipe I usually use it in oatmeal for 2-3 days. Then any last bits get made into a pasta sauce!

That yellow squash is called a delicata, and they are so good. And you can eat the skin, just cut it up, toss with olive oil, salt & pepper, and roast until soft. They are sweet and nutty, so delicious.

The problem with The Haunting of Hill House is that it's based on one of the best books by one of the greatest American authors (Shirley Jackson), and it is SO FAR from what the book is about. Not to mention that in the show they had the book The Haunting of Hill House having been written by a man?! That's when I stopped watching that show haha. Sincerely, Shirley Jackson's biggest fan, probably 🤣
