Great to hear you're updates. I'm off on a two week Mediterranean cruise in November, it's my dad's 80th birthday. I can't wait 😍 😍 I've been trying to sell his house since January and we finally completed on it yesterday. So I'm looking forward to sitting on the balcony on Sky Princess drinking a cocktail or even a latte. I hope you are successful with the interview 🙏🙏

Good luck with yr interview. I hope yr kids have a good first week back and Myles settles in well. He is so ready and will do him good. My 3 are year 2, year 8 & college induction this week... I'm mentally and physically drained but also needing to get me bk so resonate with you .. hopefully feels / gets easier to do that for us both when bk into routine xx

So glad I'm not the only one that takes my kids to work with them. I'm self-employed and have a small cleaning business and in the holdiay most of my clients are happy for my 3 children to come with me. It's lovely to have that flexibility x

I left my career (Headteacher) for loads of boring reasons! My husband is the sole earner for the first time; he is kind, generous - 'its our money' kinda man yadeeyada... I know this is a total privilege BUT I just love earning my own money; having my own identity outside of the family. Totally understand. xxx

It is always hard when your youngest goes off to school. I started childminding to keep me busy and went to evening classes to build up my qualifications. Empty nest comes again when they leave home. my boys are both in their early 30's but they will always be my boys.x This summer has been very stressful for us. We put the house up for sale in March. We sold it in April but it took til June before all lthe searches etc were complete. We found the house we wanted to go to and we were in a 4 part chain. We were supposed to be completing this week and moving next but last Friday the bottom of the chain pulled out so we are all now in a state of constant stress, waiting another 4 months seems endless but we are packed up. I'm not unpacking but months of living around boxes doesn't sound good.

I didnt realise u were so young claire when you had Alistair in your very early 20s that alone deserves a pst on the back i was 30 when i had my eldest and boy that was a big adjustment to the life i knew. Now my baby 17 is off college next monday and i am dreading it as she has slways been with me although the older 2 girls will be with me at home they have work college their own cars own money holidays etc and use my house as their base . I am not sure if i can cope with the idea that their time here with me is limited and i have to face a future on my own . I rarely leave the safety of my home but because the girls are in and out i dont feel lonely however i may do when they are not here. So i am trying to figure how to navigate the future whatever that will look like px

@@clairelou09011988 my girls are Daisy who is pure white accept for 1 black eye and 1 black ear on opposite sides also very rare too find a staffy with the same markings 🥰🥰🥰 And my other girl whose Holly she’s black/brindled and aged 10 now as greying fur around her snout and eyes 🥰🥰🥰🥰 It’s seriously not fair they don’t have longer life spans ain’t it hun 🥰🥰🥰

Also Claire I cried both times my nephews went into reception class 18 and 15 this year 🙀 🙀🙀 I’m just enjoying my young niece felicity aged 6 and my baby nephew aged 11 months yesterday (September 3rd) as I no longer help with my eldest 2 😢😢😢😢 my 14 year old nephew doesn’t even talk too me never mind visit me 2 years since I saw him and 6 months since I spoke too hom 😭😭😭 he’s a teenager so he will talk to me when he’s older I hope xx

@@clairelou09011988 he’s a typical teenager hun 😂 plus he’s autistic and has ADHD too so sometimes he struggles too show any emotions he’s never been a big talker and he’s not a cuddly boy actually he hates it as since about 3/4 years old he was diagnosed with autism aged 5 after a 2 year battle and ADHD was diagnosed aged 8 after years of uncontrolled aggression (kicking punching head butting etc) and found from a very young age he couldn’t sit still for long so nursery pinned it too us aged 3 a few months after starting and then in reception he flooded the toilet sinks by clogging the plug holes with toilet paper 😂😂😂 he was sent home for 2 weeks aged 4 3 weeks into reception 😂 I found it extremely funny but no school certainly wasn’t laughing 😆 Now he’s 14 (15 on December 18th) and now he’s on relevant medication for ADHD he’s doing well in high school with 1:1 teaching so whenever he’s ready too open up with me again I’ll welcome him with open arms ….. do any of ur 3 have additional needs hun xx

Hi Claire I have no children (not by choice believe 😭😭) but I did bring my 2 nephews up along side my mum as my sister was far too busy with men too even care 😡😡 but my eldest nephew now lives with my mum 18 in October 16th aged 15 he told his mum it’s me or Chris (her boyfriend of 3 years) and guess what she said Chris over my nephew Luke who like I stated was 15 at the time 😡😡😡 that’s why he lives with my mum nowadays safe too say she got one heck of a beating Fromm various family member me including in that ..,.. So hun ur doing a brilliant 🤩 job bringing up ur boys and girl Allistar Violet and Little Myles don’t put ur self down darling ur amazing even if u go ahead and get a new job to occupy ur day that doesn’t mean u neglect ur kids good luck 🤞 hun in whatever u decide love Claire from Bradford xx
