I love the idea of a series about planning for beginners! I just ordered my first EC vertical and plan on using stickers from your shop and could really use some guidance / ideas.... specifically white space planning with the bitty kits would be great to see! Love your videos/shop! 😃

I support the series for two reasons: the last newbie planner video you did was really good and there are people like me who‘s a happy planner but is now getting into kits, there are differences for sure and tips are appreciated. Also, yes to the inserts! I wanted them before but there weren’t available for the HP. Well, I’m getting a B6 Kikki K and I would LOVE to have those inserts for it!

So, I was watching this video, and when you said you didn't really remember what happened on a certain day, I thought of this episode I listened to on one of the NPR podcasts (either This American Life or Invisibilia). It was about this rare condition where people remember EVERYTHING that happened to them starting from the moment they were more or less conscious. Like they can tell you what they did 10 years ago at 3 pm. Very interesting

This is the first time I have seen one of these types of videos. I am kind of on the fence. Planners are for planning so it seems alien to me seeing them being used after the fact. I suppose if you plan on keeping them forever to remember your day to day activities and think that your progeny would keep them as mementos, it's a cute idea. It's definitely artistic, but wow it is a lot of work. I will be watching more.

Everybody plans differently. I cant preplan. Like putting on tuesday that I'll do laundry. What if I do it monday? Or dont feel like it til thursday? I plan as I go. I write what chores I complete that day. I track what I eat and watch. Bills and work are the only think I write in advance.

Yeah id hesitate to even call it planning even if its in a planner. Its closer to journaling/scrapbooking. I think most people use them to look at products and get ideas. I get the impression that some of these youtubers have lots of stickers they want to use (get in PR/sponsorships) but just dont have time to use them all in regular planning.
