This was great, Sansha. It's nice to get to know the background of someone you spend time with each week. You have very impressive credentials and it shows how you incorporate your educational knowledge into your approaches to styling clothes and accessories. I hope you continue to grow your channel and attract new subscribers. I too do not dry my clothes except for my pajamas and some workout tops. I don't think it is necessary to wash pants too often unless they become soiled. My husband recently read an article that stated that fabric softener is not the best product to use if you want your clothes to last longer. Thank you Sansha. I look forward to more Q & A videos.

Thank you Diane!! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! Ever since I went to University and did my own laundry I haven’t used fabric softener……and that’s almost 20 years ago. I always felt there was a dilm on the clothes as if the water couldn’t properly rinse the softener……I definitely think using less products make clothes last longer!🤗❤️

Firstly, let me just say I was really impressed by your credentials and your background! No wonder you make your outfits look so well put together. You use your scientific knowledge and your fashion know-how to get the colours and proportions just right! I agree with you about not washing your garments until they actually NEED washing! So many people of your generation seem to believe that an article of clothing needs to be laundered after a single wash. This just leads to clothes wearing out much more quickly. I feel like my style journey has evolved the last few years and it much more classic chic .. when I was younger I feel like it was more bohemian chic.I really liked you before but like you even more after this video that you gave us insight into how you came to be an influencer. I like your summer essentials list. I have been thrifting some great Bermuda shorts lately. Oh I follow this girl on you tube called mm design. She shows runways in different categories. Hi Deborah, I’ll definitely have a look thank you for the recommendation! I don’t stick to only 3 words to describe my style as I find it limiting for me personally. I have a few words/phrases and did a video recently where I discussed it: sleek, clean lines, streamlined, simple, not too feminine, classic pieces with modern silhouettes, mostly neutral, structure/tailoring, solid colours mostly (very few prints/patterns)…….I don’t know if it makes sense to anyone but these describe my outfits and help me when I buy something new.❤️

Hi Cathy, I don’t use steaming mitts although that’s probably a good idea😊 But I’ve only burnt myself once in the past (with my previous steamer) and it was purely because I wasn’t thinking😂

@@styled.bysansha Yeah, well, I find I do a lot of "not thinking" things. Pretty sure i've put my hand behind something that I was steaming at some point. I like the idea of not having to use an iron anymore but need to learn how to properly use a steamer on clothes

Thanks for sharing this with us! I really enjoy your videos. Lately I had to replace a white tee and bought one that you recommended and I love it! I also HATE that sheen left behind from ironing. I bought a steamer a few years ago and i’m not happy with it so I am ironing. But like yo7 I try to minimize washes.

I'm also an Engineer! I have a BS in Software Engineering and then got a BA in Interior Design, haha! I'm older though (41) I love your style and videos because they are very straight forward and classic, and I think it is the engineering part that makes them so attractive to me, lol.
