I was recently engaged to be married at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. We live in Toronto. I took notice of all the beautifully dressed woman in Paris while I was there. I now have a beautiful straw bag that I use while grocery shopping & receive many compliments. I also put on an outfit before I leave the house & no longer wear work out gym clothes outside my home. I have elevated my fashion game since visiting Paris! 😘

I need a good, classic winter coat. I am so sick of wearing Uniqlo puffer jackets - and seeing the rest of the world in them too.

It all depends on the climate. I travel often and the weather and activities vary, so I own several jackets and coats. However, you could be fine with just having one. The style and lengthof the coat comes into the decision making process based on your lifestyle. You can’t go wrong with a wool or cashmere coat in a classic style - it won’t pill and will last for years. (Avoid a poly blend unless you only want to wear it for a season or two.) If you find the prices of a new coat too high for what you want to spend, try vintage/pre-loved coats. The quality of fabrics and workmanship were, for the most part, better in the past. Finally, have your coat cleaned before storing in a breathable garment bag (mine are cotton) in the off-season to avoid having stains set-in forever and protect it from moths. Good luck!
