I can give you my Chai recipe: 4 cups of water in a pot, + 2 cinnamon sticks 5-6 green cardamom pods (cracked open) 4-5 cloves 1-2 star anise (whole) 4-6 whole peppercorns (do not used ground pepper...trust me) 1/4" slice of fresh ginger Simmer in the water for a minimum 20 minutes to get those flavours infusing into the water + your teabags of choice, to the strength of tea you prefer. (Weak =1 bag, Medium strong= 2 bags, strong= 3 bags) keep water on a simmer and allow those tea bags to steep for a minimum of 3 minutes upwards of 5 minutes. Once done to your desired strength, strain all of the spices and teabags from the water. Add the sweetener and milk of your choice. No ground spices to leave residue in your tea and you can adjust the quantities of each spice to your personal preference. I minimize the cloves and up the cardamom and ginger because that is what I prefer, but you adjust to your tastes. What you don't drink hot is great over ice for lovely iced Chai if you like those as well. Enjoy 🍵

The best time is whenever you want to honestly! I use Final Cut pro for my editing but that’s only because iMovie was crashing a lot on my laptop, I don’t think the upgrade is a total necessity.

Ah the Lavender! You should make a Syrup for drinks. I am growing my own currently so I can make Lavender in my London Fog. Tip if you decide to grow it; It is in the mint family so I NEEDS to be contained to a pot. It is weed like and will take over your whole yard/lawn/garden if you let it free

I've tried a few thrillers and I was not thrilled so to speak, but I am reading one of your recommendations "Lock Every Door" by Riley Sager and so far it is chef's kiss🤌🏽... Like the way the main character experiences loss and poverty as a woman is so real. Thank you again for another wonderful recommendation 🙇🏽‍♀️... And I think Jules is a medium coffee kind of girlie with 3 sugars and 2 creamers because it's cheap and she's too busy grinding for anything else, the vibe is a crowded New York coffee shop that's too crowded and anxiety inducing. 😅

The reason you might not be getting the amount of espresso from the 30 second pull may have more to do with the grind of the espresso (varies based on temperature and humidity) and how tightly you tamp the espresso before pulling. However, if you found a setting that is working for you and you like the flavor, keep doing that 😁

the main character in my current read, a story of a new name, elena, would definitely be a typical italian girl and order either a cappuccino or shot of espresso. she wouldn't like it but she would make it her whole personality because it's what "educated people" drink. if she saw someone at the cafe that she perceived as smart she would also order whatever they ordered. if the book was a cafe it would definitely be a small, overcrowded and stuffy cafe covered in tile in the middle of a poor italian neighborhood with basically only a bar where working men could smoke, chat and stand while taking a shot of espresso on their break.

For the coffee order thing, I'm reading the Brothers Karamazov right now and I immediately had answers! Aloysha is a very sweet and wide-eyed boy but he's also a monk in training, so I think he's used to having simple meals and such, so I think he would be perfectly comfortable with just a plain black coffee or tea, no milk or sugar. Ivan wants to be an intellectual so bad, I think he would force himself to drink earl gray tea until he liked it. Dmitry puts on a very tough exterior but in reality's he's just nervous and wants cuddle time with his lady friend, so I think he would order a cappuccino and then dump as many sugar packets into it as he can, quickly and discreetly so that no one sees him doing so (he so wishes to one day order one of the super sugary frappes. I'm almost positive he's had a girl order one for him but pretend it's hers) Smerdykov drinks exclusively Irish coffee. If the coffee doesn't have whiskey in it, he won't drink it. Period.

I was afraid I was the only person not digging the new TSwift album. When you said the first four songs sound the same, I literally said out loud, "Right?!?!?!?!"

I listened to most of the first album and didn't even realize I listened to that many songs because they all sounded so similar. Some of the lyrics I've seen are good, but I'm not going to sit and read the lyrics as each song plays. I do absolutely adore Guilty As Sin? Which I heard separately though.

I’m glad this is a safe space to talk about the disappointment that is Taylor’s new album. And this is coming from a Swiftie since the 1989 era. My favorites are Down Bad, So Long London, and I Can Do It With a Broken Heart. I also like Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me? and I’m fine with Florida. But I agree that everything just sounds the same!! Like everyone was saying that this is supposed to be Folklore’s sexy sister IS LYING! I was so excited and it makes me feel like such a fake fan that I don’t like it as much. My friends who are also Swifties are not feeling it either. Like it’s not bad but it’s just so painfully average and because she keeps working with the same producers and focusing on her rerecordings, it just sounds so similar to her other stuff. I do agree with Midnights as well but I am of the party where I was disappointed at first but grew to love the album even though it seems like scraps of her other albums. But at least Midnights was fun and catchy!! This album is boring to me and so slow. I had the same issue that you had that I had to check the song on my phone to see what song it was because it all blends together. And don’t even get me started on the second album, it just made me angry. That one is even worse because I feel like there are songs that sound exactly like her previous songs. And her lyrics are fine but it’s not her best. I feel like I might get used to the original TTPD album but the Anthology is just so unnecessary like we really didn’t need it. But yea, this is coming from a very sad Swiftie so I understand. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. Also you mentioning what coffee would your main character pick is reminding we should have a recommendation video like that! It can be something similar of what you did before where you recommend a book based on what coffee you like or vice versa!
