I make a taco chicken chili in the crockpot that’s super easy and yummy! 2 cans black beans 2 cans corn 2 cans rotel 2 packages taco seasoning 1 block of cream cheese Chicken breasts *Cook on low 6-8 hours* Also, I am a teacher, mom, and foster parent. I pray for the fruits of the spirit EVERY MORNING too. 💜

I teach first grade and our lunch last year was at 10:30 and this year it is at 11:00 so I am always hungry for lunch early in the day. Love watching your subbing videos as I plan to retire at the end of this year and then substitute next year :) Maybe at the end of this school year, you can do a video about being a Substitute...tips and tricks for a successful day as a substitute :)

My chili toppings are basically identical! Sometimes tostitos but gotta have some crunch regardless! I also get teased that I eat sour cream with a side of chili

That is so late for lunch! Hope they have snack mid morning. Glad you are getting to sub some. I am a retired teacher but am presently doing some small group tutoring two mornings a week. You are so right about how different when we don’t have lesson plans, meetings, etc.

I teach Kindergarten and our lunch is 11, but they go out for recess at 10:30 so teachers on our lunch usually eat at 10:30. Now my body is used to it so PD days when we eat later are hard 🤣

My hubby has me hooked on putting CheezIts in my chili!! When I was younger we’d have it with rice, pasta, and make chili cheese dogs! Not a big fan of sour cream in mine, usually just go for cheese 😋

My daughter is in 1st grade currently and her lunch is at 12:50 which is soooo late for her. I pack her a very big snack which they eat around 10-10:30. Last year in kindergarten, their lunch was 11:20 so big difference be 11:20 and 12:50!
