If only I had this advice given to me when I began my career it would have been priceless. Can only tell all youngsters to take your free advice with immense gratitude. It will help them immensely in their career and more importantly to get peace of mind. I was also one of those who always felt I am too good in my job skills to need to indulge in Chatukarita. It caused immense strife in my mental peace. You are a much needed beacon of light to millions of corporate employees.

Sir that is sth I always wondered of. I'm a intern doctor in a govt hospital and I see how some of my fellow doctors irresponsibly handle patients and are only interested in 'khanapurti' of sarkari documents. I often hear seniors admiring them like how their 'work' is always complete on time. It's also true they never challenge the seniors. But when I contradict my senior on some topic or when I prioritise the patient over the seniors comfort, they never miss any opportunity to make me feel down.

I am government employee. Around 50 people are working under me. I can easily identify who is most efficient & who is topper in chatukarita 😅. Both have their utilities. I prefer to maintain both of them.

I have noticed that People who are successful at Chatukarita usually also have very good infrastructure like a good house, club membership, intelligent spouse, a wide friend circle and many contacts. There are many employees who aspire to become chatukarita but the boss or owner will only allow you into his confidence if you can perform favours that others cannot.

I can confirm. I used to be egoistic and think my talent is enough. Learnt some tough lessons. Now im in a very high earning position in a job that nobody survived for more than a year. The trick is make your boss look good, never argue esp in public, do not compete for attention and be available

Easy rule....1).always do same amount of work as the chatukar is doing and start to copy them, and, cry about every single thing you do in office 2) stop expecting recognition, just do your job and come home, do silent resignation/quiet quitting.......do this until you are ready to leave/forced to quit
