I liked the starting line concept very much. I think "don't compare others to yourself at all' kind of advice never works. I also noticed this when I was in services. Leave the senior juniors, Group A officers compared their savings, assets with me, a Group C soldier. My parents were both working and have achieved a lot which gives me absolute financial freedom. My officer IC used to say in informal gathering that he has more money in PF, i felt- why is he comparing apples to oranges! You were about to say that 'I have seen this in services also' 😁

Whenever my wife/friend shows some other person living a lavish lifestyle, the first thing I ask is how loaded are their parents. My senior used to compare with me and used to make my life miserable. I have generational wealth and house near workplace. He used to say this guy has a palace even if it is a 30x40 site private home and I was planning to buy bmw in corporate senior can see what you browse and always used to mentally torture me by saying he will buy a bmw by making me feel even tough I am working hard he wants to put his insecurities onto me.

Sir, this is actually one of your deepest and most meaningful videos if people do self analysis. I realised these aspects when I looked back in life that my classmates or colleagues who had even some backing from parents in the form of property or land were more confident and stress free. They were bolder and able to take risk because they always had a fall back option. With that they leaped ahead. Even my Gp A batchmates, those whose parents were also Gp A, they were already confident in career and environment. They also had the right guidance from their parents and the network. First timers like me took few years just to understand the operating environment.
