I do not get the allure of penny stocks.......why deal with unpredictable pumping/dumping, poor liquidity, wide bid/ask spreads and constant gapping when you can just buy options on large/mid caps stocks? Options renders the whole "my account is too small" logic null. Because you can benefit from the UPSIDE and the DOWNSIDE of equities that move at least a 1.00 per day on average without buying expensive shares.

I’ve started with 100.00 and I still have the base but have added and pulled out put back in switched around blah blah… I’ve been playing in a bullpen! 😂 and Im no matador! What I am is a poor addict in recovery for ten years now! It’s about that time to show this family of mine who the heck I am and who I always have been underneath the drug induced coma I walked around in for 29 years! Because I am poor in money and rich in brains (I just began listening to Gritanni and blow me down he was starting His adventure while I was sitting in prison wondering where in the heck I went wrong… everywhere that’s where! I’ve learned not to ever put all my eggs in one basket but Im not sure of the baskets I should jump in and out of and make money! I own my stock somewhere that’s not really an ideal place to buy and keep my stock but I’ve had no problems out of the app/online banking platform that sells crypto and stock as well! Everyone else I know has a different type of account than I do but it’s the same app? I own stock whereas they do not so my whole platform looks completely different than theirs? Extra security maybe I dunno but it’s something! Regardless I’d like to know where the best place to purchase which markets stocks? I subscribe to many newsletters that I don’t read, my emails are ridiculously full of jargon from every direction known to mankind lol! I pay more attention to this and Seeking Alpha… my portfolio mirror is on Alpha well some of it because I day traded yesterday out of fear and lost a lil bit but not much because I pulled it out before the day ate my investment of 20.00 or 50 because that’s pretty much the most I have in one basket! I do have more on Tesla than anything else and it’s been good and bad and it’s had a 1.00 balance a zero balance that really wasn’t ever zero because the next time Tesla went up my Public (I hate that platform and the people there are awful) account went from 0 to 3.00. I had two slices and one ETF that I’d earned from an earn and learn opportunity! I’ve earned over 80.00 worth of free stock and crypto and tbh I look for apps that do offer the earn and learn because it’s free duh! Lol I like free and I love my country and my freedom (we are losing that though) I’m grateful to God for giving me a half time to re evaluate my life and design a new approach to the second half! This is it! I’m loving it! I’m not making anything but a dollar or two here and there, however I am learning a lot! Or at least I think I am and then I think I’m confused and suck at all of this. The latter is a lie because the devil is a liar! Now I won’t say anything else about my love for Jesus Christ but I do and without him I wouldn’t be here so he gets the glory and I’ll take the blessings and thank HIM for you (whomever that or they may be) all because we all MATTER! If you’ve read this to the end and anyone here is moved by it please don’t hold back from approaching me! I may be stand offish until I VET you but that’s a smart thing to do considering our location and our destinations. I want to learn day trading with little money and start making small gains that may seem minute to many but for me it’s huge at five cents and makes me giddy lol!! I’m like a kid in a candy shop 🤪💄🐷!! Put lipstick on a pig and call it Elon lol! I’m really a cool lady with big dreams but realistically they aren’t to big that they can’t be achieved! HMU … and hey Tim so what you’re saying about creating an email just for trading so I can get emails first then buy in and sell out ( I know it’s not always that easy but…) who is a good broker that I should deal with? +viswa Rock - it depends how much volume is traded on any given stock, by how much market impact a transaction of this size would have.

If you buy that many shares of a highly illiquid stock, then probably yes... for instance... AMSF is trading at $58... it's average volume is 93,000/day... if you bought 10,000 shares, then yes, that would probably move the needle considering you just bought more than 10% of the entire average daily volume. MSFT on the other hand, trading at $57, has an average daily volume of almost 31 million. So in that case, no. Drop in the ocean.

Viswa Ramesh depends on the volume float and outstanding shares. A $50 stock is most likely a large company with many outstanding shares so you would have to buy a lot to really influence the price. Typically institutional buyers and sellers have the power to influence a large stock.

+Rainx5000 there's a good chance you will fail as a trader in the beginning - pretty much everyone does, but it's nothing to be scared of... Accept it takes time to build skill. So, learn as much as you can (these podcasts are a good resource, but there are also other great resources), open a paper trading account, and start out small.

+Rainx5000 you need to have a strategy that is non-random. meaning it is a real profitable strategy that makes money in general. then you need a small fortune to invest. you have fundamental strategies, technical strategies, and quantitative strategies. The best 'technical indicators' are the ones based on statistics: moving averages, Bollinger bands, heiken-ashi, VIX-FIX, seasonality, etc. dont waste your time with superstitions like dow theory or market harmonics, stay close to science. statistics and fundamentals is your only weapon in this business. The best strategies are market neutral, and the most useful risk management tool is the kelly criterion. learn Warren Buffets value investing approach for investing, and Larry Williams strategies for trading. learn about other markets, bonds, forex, futures, options, alternatives, real estate etc.

What does shorting mean? For example you said Tim pretty much only short sells.

+ynoter1 trading a 'short' position is when you bet the price will decline, meaning you make money from the price going down. It's the opposite to trading a 'long' position, where you make money from the price going up.

I will explain one way of shorting a stock. Say you want to short XYZ company. The current market price is $100/share. You go to your broker and borrow 10 shares and sell them for 100/share right away ($1000+). Two things can now happen. Say the price of the stock goes down to $50/share. One will then buy he stock and bring those shares back to his broker. The profit is $500+ (not including interest if there is any). another thing such as if the price goes up can happen, say to $150/share. Before it goes hirer so that you cut your losses, you buy 10 shares for $1500 and return those to your broker. You have just lost $500 (and probably your confidence lol)

Truth is they make more money selling product than they do trading. So what? If they impart knowledge on you which makes you a more profitable trader, then it it's worth the cost, right? Its actually scary how closely these traits are connected to the traits they test in actual IQ tests. I bet one could find successful traders have a very high IQ. Poor interviewing skills, you have Tim on and you don't ask about size how often he trades what he waits for, just a simple of conversation I waited but nothing for the interviewer what a shame. He does the impossible and you don't ask him about size of trade to get there? too bad. I rated this a thumbs down only because the interviewer was poor. Size? Pff size is easy: You have a starter size when the move is in your favor and you build that size up as the move continues to be in your favor. So for example start with 500 shares (long or short depending on the move being in your favor off course long or short) and ad more size of 500 blocks along the way as the move continues: So you can end up with 1000/5000 shares in your favor making more profits as the move continues in your favor. And it is not about how often he trades: It's about how often will the market give you the opportunity to trade giving you the exact setups/patterns you have been waiting for.

Just because you're too fucking stupid to figure something out on your own does not mean that you should dislike the video. This channel is great and you are lucky you are even listened to this interview.
