**Update**... Sweetwater was kind enough to send me a new RFC-XL remote and it worked 1000% better immediately after I synced it. The remote I showed in the video was clearly defective and the new one works exactly as you would expect. Just sharing the update. Thanks.

Having the same problem with the buttons. Thank you for all of this info. How they don’t include this info in the instructions is beyond me.

So…the newest set of these lights I just received have a new firmware version on them. (Version 2.0). So the only way to get my previous 8 lights updated is to ship them back to Chauvet. What a strange and complicated way to do things…Every time there is an update they need to be shipped back… surprised nobody thought of that when they were designed?

They just recently dropped the price $300 for this kit. Makes sense since the original $1900+ price tag was a little over the top.
