CHAVEZ-VILCHEZ: HOW DID I GET MY RESIDENCE PERMIT | FROM TOURIST TO RESIDENT | WE ARE VISSERING

If you are Filipino or of any citizenship this video is for you. This video explain my personal experienced in getting the Chavez-Vilchez Arrest Visa. A type of Visa that gives you the right as a parent to take care of your Dutch child/children and to remain to stay in The Netherlands. This is video was purely my personal experienced and it was indeed a stressful but worth it process. I hope this video will help someone who is in our situation before.

Hi Thanks for sharing this. It's super helpful Just to check a little detail, when were you able to register at the municipal for BSN ? Is it after you get the both letters from IND, or after the first letter ? We only have one letter stating the processing time so far,

Hi @Blue Pack, Im glad this content was helpful for you. As far as I remember few days right after our appointment in IND Ams I went straight to the Gemeente (Municipality) for BSN because I was already holding the approval papers. What I waited for was the letter thats states when I can pick up my Resident Card. But please check as it might have change now, we did the processed in 2017. Good Luck on your processing. I hope you or who ever is applying for Chavez gets the visa soon. Be patient and ensure to have provide the required documents.

Hi! Thank you for comment. As far as I know if you come here as Facilitation Visa you cannot apply for citizenship if you have a Chavez Visa. You will need to apply for Partnership Visa meet the requirements, take the exam then you can apply for citizenship. But please check the IND Website for more detailed information. Good Luck!

Hello Po, I had my daugther already when I apply for Chavez Visa. Kasi you can only apply Chavez when you have the Dutch already but as what I said in the video po it wasn't plan. Chavez was released when we were looking for solution how can i stay in The Netherlands.
