Hello my name is Wymann Simpson. This is my mother singing "Order My Steps" at my little brother's Funeral. I know it seems like I was zoned out the whole time. But truthfully it was because I was. At around 3:24 I was in amazement to see so many people. The whole church was packed wall to wall. My little brother touched so many people and I never knew until that day.
After the passing of Chavonne L. Young's son Landon J. Maltbia-Young he made a few final request in a letter he left her before his departure from this world to his new home. He asked his mother to sing one of his favorite songs that all of her sons like to hear her sing on Sunday, "Order My Steps". Be mindful that she has the strength of an Angel. I say this because in this video Landon J. Maltbia-Young is laying right in front of her as she sang her final song to him during his funeral. Please pass this along.

Young Lady I use to sing also. Yes high soprano , God gave Me that talent so I could spread his holy words to others I am sure. You have a beautiful voice, take care of it . Drinking liquor, smoking and a lot of unnecessary screaming will damage your vocals cords ,I lost my voice due to smoking and screaming at my unruly emotional disturb Students occasionally . It worked for them, they behave and completed their class work but , not for me. Eventually it caught up with me, loss my sing voice. Develop nodules on my throat. So sorry you lost your Son and he is resting in peace, God got him , Hopefully you and your Family continue to go on with your life knowing that his Father in heaven will take good care of him. My mother lost her mother in 1989 lost her first child my big sister to metastatic breast cancer at 46...the look on my mother’s face hurt me to the core so did my sisters passing she fought a good fight stayed in remission 4 yrs went to heart doctor suggested she see her oncologist gave her pet scan it had metastasized over 90% of her body my mother was heart broken 2010 lost my brother to violence he was killed in the line of duty last call Officer Brown #226 she told me babygirl I asked the Lord if Audrey going soon because I cannot bury another child she said he come to her showed Audrey taught school 27 yrs. had metastatic breast cancer only tears she fought so hard mom passed in 2012 Audrey passed 2013 buried her a week before Thanksgiving gosh I miss these two but the condition they were in that would be selfish of me. To say the past few years have been the worst of my 63 is an understatement. I’ve thought of giving up daily. I don’t know when I lost faith but thank God was still close enough to Him to know that’s what was wrong and that I needed (need) revival. Your voice in that hymn in that circumstance has been my first revival and I thank you for it. My GOD my GOD. I started crying as soon as this mother started singing. I loss my mother (May 8th, 2018) & sister (December 15, 2018) within 7 months of each other. I buried my mother the day BEFORE Mother's Day & my sister 3 days BEFORE Christmas. GOD gave me the STRENGTH to speak @ BOTH of there funerals. BLESS you Mrs. Chavonne. This song was played in the slide show of memories to my mother. 😢💔
