R'Zacharia Wallerstein, Being at this lecture that night in one of the shuls in Queens Valley that night had such a huge impact on the way I look and process life. Thank you for your sincere efforts, and genuine intentions to help Klal Yisroel. Listening to this today again is such a privilege. Thank you for your valuable words of Torah and who you are in this world. Sammy

The expression צדקה ממני also means “She is righteous, (the child) is from me.” A double meaning: “She is more righteous than I am”; “She is righteous; (the child she is carrying) is from me.”

I don't know how many children Yehuda had, but if he knew his lineage was destined to be the kings of the family's descendants, I guess he should have trusted that G-d would make sure one of his children would have a child. Not that I'm saying I would have done better in his situation. But I guess he realized that by not giving his 3rd son to marry Tamar, he may have been getting in the way of G-d's plan. Is that correct?

I wish Christians would learn Judaism. It's so helpful. It's a huge missing link in our faith.
