So far this decade, no champion has gotten out the second round, that’s a good sign of balanced competition! In the 2010s the Cavs and warriors dominated, in the 2000s it was the spurs and lakers, in the 90s it was bulls, etc. but this is nice to see

There's less room for washed up players today, instead of eating a team's salary cap they go to China or Europe now, and utterly bad bottom feeder teams like the 80s Clippers or 90s Vancouver Grizzlies are less common.

Ant at 22 years led the wolves to beat the champs all series. Even today if you actually watch the game, his defense and energy was palpable against Murray in 2nd half. He gets a good portion of credit tho. His impact, albeit not offensively tonight, but in his energy to uplift his teammates and create rhythm is what's special about him. He couldn't find a rhythm within himself tonight, but by being himself and a good teammate, he helped others find their own. My praise doesn't sugarcoat his lackluster offensive performance l, but his presence on the court AND the bench was much needed for the win tonight.

@@sanjayramroop4690 it was important but the credit largely lies on KAT, NAZ, McDaniels, and Gobert. It was a team win.

6:10 What i don’t understand is with 32 seconds left after that insane 3 point shot fading to the side by KCP with 15 seconds on the shot clock 1. Murray didn’t even touch the ball 2. MPJ didn’t touch the ball but they just QUIT ! FOUL THEM ! Make them shoot free throws to end the game. I’ve watched a lot of basketball and coached in my years, my dad was a coach and he even said why are they quitting ? We’re both yelling at the tv There’s 32 seconds left! That could easily be another 2-3 possessions a piece. That showed me they didn’t wanna be there.. They were over getting bullied and playing that hard and they just.. quit 🤦🏾‍♂️ I understand you have to get really lucky in that spot to come back but don’t fold.

Messing about with the ball a lot were the nuggets in the latter stages of the 4th, didn’t quite get it tbh. Glad wolves won. Deserved.

Bench play is so important in the playoffs. I strongly believe if they gave Bruce Brown his money, they would have repeat.

Olajuwon and Robinson didn't look out of shape but still were gassed out by the end of games because the rest of their teams weren't very good, but when they got some help they dominated.
