Jarek has done a good job, I think he has built all the functionality to avoid having to open files and do manual handwork. You can edit your airline terminals in program. No need to worry about the time formats. You can select special liveries inside the scheduler as well.

You do not have to make your own database folder by hand, you can clone one and rename from inside the scheduler. Also worth noting, at airports that do not have huge numbers of gates, you must be mindful of your hourly counts. Example, LGA, there are about 80 or so gates, and that is going to be your limiting number of aircraft per hour. That airport in the sim is only going to do 80 or so ops an hour, then the sim will start trimming the schedule. If you build a schedule there of 95 per hour or more, about hour and half in, you will only get departures when you accept the arrivals. If you are using a bunch of special paint schemes, you may miss out on quite few of them during the sim schedule trimming. LAS, LAX, OMDB, there are enough gates that you can build schedules that overwhelm your human ability without much problem.

Without elaborating more it's hard to know what the issue is, my friend. If you pop into the FeelThere Discord there's a thread where the guys all discuss the software and potential issues. I'd try there. It's much easier to share screenshots and have a conversation about it there.
