Sadly, I don't think the nerfs will even be close to reigning in hack. You can still cast it instantly from invis on a 4 second cooldown, you just won't be able to cripple the tank permanently anymore, but still for a good 80% of the fight lol

@@alexlink4623 thanks for the maths but not really my point. Fights typically last longer than 30 seconds- being hacked 3-4 times every fight with absolutely zero counterplay is not fun or fair. They should have kept 40% increased damage and increased the cooldown/ cast time imo

@@OfLanceTheLonginus ok lets break him down then: He is the biggest target in the game. Has a unique sound to his movements has no form of stopping damage he feels slow and clunky. The only thing he has is a self heal and a hook. If you miss with that hook what then??? the average player lands maybe 30-40% of their hooks. He is by far one of the easiest tanks to lock down. He becomes completely useless when ana nades him unlike other tanks. There is a reason we never really see him in the pro scene he pops up a little here and there but never seriously. If played well of course he can pop off and there are some pro players of him that make him look overpowered but thats as far as he gets. I like playing him, but i mostly support, soon as im vsing him in comp i go ana and few fights he switches.

That's actual statistics right there if you look at the player ranks and their top 3 locked in picks, not something I pulled out of nowhere. Speaking of, I'm not talking about a casual setting, so I'm going to disregard that '30-40% hook rate'. I...I have no idea where that came from but I can assure you that that number is higher in a ranked setting. If a hog is missing that many hooks, he should switch quite honestly. In terms of skill I'd say they both require it, however * just killing who i felt like killing* Funny cause most of the time I see good balls targeting the support or those with low health, most of the time ignoring the tank all together, kinda like in these videos, yknow since he doesn't have that good a finisher unlike the classic hook n one shot from hog that can and does kill most supports. That's his role, that's hog's role to a degree, it's just boils down to a difference between "ah I have to get the drop on this ana , stun them, and land a solid 3-4 seconds of follow up fire to kill" compared to "I hook the ana down the chokepoint and brain them" You don't have to talk crap about ball if you like hog, but both of these guys require skill in the longrun. Thats all I gotta say.
