The chain is not going to be straight on one by when using extreme high or low gears. That’s why having at least 2 chain rings at the front is better

Get the 9-50 range cassette if you have the XD driver. It’s a life changing experience. I’m running that on my enduro bike with 32t chairing & I can still pedal at nearly 40+mph :)
