That is one very versatile pedal. I'm not really sure if I like it or not, but it can definitely do a variety of things. It seems pretty well made, and isn't very expensive. What do you think of it?

I used Mosky DTC for almost a year now. The overdrive and distortion are sounding better than anything else. Some people are sceptic about China brand but not for me. And it works fine with any amps.

Is Brad a virtuoso? Maybe not. Does he provide us with a solid pedal demo? Absolutely. Thanks for the demo, it's always nice when the noise floor is unnoticeable, and we can hear a couple different guitars through the effects. I was hoping for a lot more out of the chorus, (I couldn't actually hear any chorus, is it just subtle?) but the delay and overdrive sound pretty good. And hey, I used to have worse guitar skills than that. Keep playing, good sir!

The effects loop is there so you can put your solo boost & other modulation effects after the drive but before the delay.

The flanger setting sounds very good.. seems a nice little package without spending massive amounts of money. I don’t think I’ve ever bought a pedal new! I look in second hand stores and pawn shops ( cash converters in the UK ) to buy pedals and guitar stuff. It’s amazing how much you can save! Last year I bought a Epiphone FT-79 Texan for £69 just because it was left handed!

Just got mine today. I should have watched this video beforehand. One of the main reasons I bought it was for a Looper pedal. I was fooled. In descriptions it says looper effect. Oh well, the rest of the pedal is nice.

Sorry to hear that. The translated description certainly wasn’t great. It’s a decent pedal though, and you can probably pick up a little ditto looper pretty cheap.

That’s a tough question because I almost never play guitar. In fact the only time I do is to test a build (usually on video). So I guess it’s collecting dust just like all of my other pedals.. and the amp… etc.

You’re guitar playing isn’t terrible, but you might want to invest in a Shure SM57 and put it in front of the amp. Then you will get a better sound from the amp (or pedals) and not so much string noise directly from the guitar.

I have an sm57 actually. I’m terrible at using it, but I have one haha. I may have to compare that with the direct line and see what sounds better.

I heard reverb coming from somewhere. Was that from the Katana or does the pedal have it also? I have a Tom Top pedal... It's my modulation pedal and I dont think I paid over 35 bucks for it brand new and shipped. It has 10 modes... 2xTremolo, 2xchorus, 2xVibe, Phaser, 3xFlanger. It's called the Mod Station. I don't really use most of that stuff very much so it really worked out for me. They sound decent enough and to get all that for what I paid is an absolute steal. I mostly use fuzz and overdrives. I don't even own a distortion pedal. By the way... A really good overdrive is the Electro Harmonix Crayon. I have several ODs and that's my favorite. Got that one on Reverb for maybe 65 bucks. Dont remember exactly, but I love it. Loved both guitars you played. Never see you on a single coil though... time to bust one out.

@@BradAngove I know. Right? ..which is exactly why I only spent 35 bucks. The actual reason I bought it is because I have a friend who did vocals in a few bands with me and he has a pretty good studio to use at his place. Since he writes 90% of what we record, I never know what I may need to do the guitar parts and make them fit the song.. That's when all that "outside the box" stuff really earns its 35 bucks. There are a lot of pedals that can be found brand new on eBay for under 50 dollars shipped. Donner, Caline, Tom Top, Biyang... are just a few. I actually got a compressor brand new shipped to my door for $18.00...and it's pretty good. Same thing with a Donner Blues OD (called the "Blues Driver") I think it was $25.00-$30.00 and it's also pretty good. ...and a delay (same price range) with 7 modes which is also good. I'm such a deal hound. Someone get me a leash! Before you buy.. ALWAYS watch the KZbin review/s if you can find one.

boss katana omg, cutting our guitar sound,,, the one boss for me would have been the sd-1 pedal, but my Mosky Silver Horse and Behringer OD300 combined do it better....with a ZOOM G2 off course...

@@BradAngove don't really want to know about them brad a joined your to learn what your good at which finishes have learnt a lot on that subject but actually nothing on the demo have a lot of good tips and techniques on body prep and finishes and good materials to use that's my point I go on no your gear for that stuff

The T style Guitar sounded very nice. Super Amp! It appears you've acquired a nice collection of "reasonable" Guitars. I think you've shown some off before however if you run out of content idea's maybe you could show us some more of the stock? Not demo of each Guitar per se, just points about what you like about each and or do not like (neck profiles, tuning, weight, value) and sure some sounds that you think stand out. Now that you have that Amp, you have to show us more playing and less building. :)

I'm sorry I'm not trying to be negative but it's really hard to take you seriously as well as any guitar related repair or build advice when your guitar is buzzing like crazy all over the neck and isn't even in tune. It's very audible in the recording and takes away from the video. Just my two cents.
