If you hang these air pumps by the feet it stops alot of the noise I ran a similar 1 for 3 years with no drama great review

I use one of these to power my hydroponic outfit. it pumps air to the bottom of a 1000ltr tote with a 6" round flat airstone no problems, you are actually choking it with only 1 outlet open, your better of opening all outlets and conversioning to 1 using splitters
