Hello, i have similar display but i noticed that when I apply resistance to the motor (riding up the hill) the display increases the speed even though the speed of the bike remains the same. So in other words it shows wrong speed measurement. Any idea about that?

hi im wondering if you can help? i just got an lcd for my scooter 60v 2000w brushless. there is a wire marked "speed" on the lcd where would i connect it im assuming its for the speedometer but there is no speed wire on my controller.

Hello friend... this speed wire must be connected on any from three hub motor power wires.

If you didn't do it already you can connect 12V or 5V ground to the ground that is coming to the display and positive12 or 5V to each wire (left, light, right)

This screen looks very similar to the NIU NQi LCD Display! May be it's from the same manufacturer, but the display for NIU is customized and communicates over the RS-485 bus whith the ECU of the NIU.

@@kingoftheput no response from anyone. I think Li ion battery and lead acid battery keeps similar terminal voltage corresponding to the charge, but Li LFP battery seems problematic. Irrespective of charge in the battery it maintains its terminal voltage closer to the rated voltage.

Same with me. I have changed 6 PB batteries to 20S liion,and I don't have correct reading on my display. I found my display very similar to this one by wires coming out of display body. So I thought it will be similar for adjustments... My display shows drop of voltage only moment before BMS cuts of battery...

We sell city coco with this display. Light is when headlight are activated. Think it's a 12v signal. Battery indicator is for 60v. Don't know if it's reprogrammable.

@@alex-eucmad.7133 @Alex - EUCmad. Deberías consultar escribiendo en inglés a quién subió el vídeo. De todas formas en el vídeo (me parece que 2:41) muestra una referencia de cables por color discriminado por función y que pudo determinar previo acceder al circuito-plaqueta. Luego con un cable (+) comienza a probar las lámparas de giro, luz alta, etc. es decir que deberías tomar el positivo de tu lámpara de giro derecho y conectarlo al cable de la consola..en el caso de error cuando actives el giro encenderá la la lámpara del otro lado o quedará intermitente la luz alta 🤔 ... Recuerda que puedes tomar una foto de tu dispositivo googlear por foto y encontrarás mucha info., en algunos casos yo encontré diagrama de conexión directamente del fabricante que oferta todos sus productos en China por las grandes plataformas de venta internacional 👌 PDT: Por regla general (global) las lámparas, intermitentes, etc funcionan a 12V 🕵️

Hi... you can try it, but first with hall sensors because there is low voltage, if is working fine live it there.

So the battery will always flash empty and the speed will never read correct? A motor has 3 wires for the power, and 5 for the hall sensor, what exactly can a controller do with those wires and is the display just showing the voltage and counting the pulse from one power wire, connected to the battery and one phase. What if the controller has a microprocessor on it that connects to a display, can't that do a lot more but what protocol does it use and how does the display decode it?

justamente instale un traductor de chino al español en el telefono para traducir esas dichosas letricas, he reparado varias la mayoria se van por los diodos de la pantalla si fallan por falso se apaga la pantalla y el voltaje que esta en el circuito de diodos es como un voltage de referencia para la placa. @@EVCustoms I will try to find that video and share it’s link here , I ask him in comments but didn’t got any reply , most of these LCD meters have C , A, ? Three options , by default they come as temperature meter, I have JK BMS and I can monitor battery temperature via app , and I don’t have temperature sensor in hub motor , that’s why in meter temperature option is useless , if I could somehow be able to change it to Amp draw. That would be so cool to see amps on meter.

Ah ok... This guy have different speed meter screen, this type of screens have extra shunt input, which can measure millivolts end convert it to current, my screen didn't have shunt input..
