Great wins! I wanted to try Over the Edge but the playing field was empty. Gateway lures you in with the 25 cent cranes and $50 later you leave with one prize. The trick is to just pick a few machines and commit. I won a Squishmallow on 5 quarters and Danielle won something on the 50cent crane.

Just was in wildwood this past week! Won 12 prizes in the cranes at Gateway! My favorite place on the boardwalk! And 3 plays for $1 is great!! And the claws are usually the best around to get prizes

This arcade is always a must stop when in Wildwood. The one tie my friend and I went and won 4 Pokémon Funko Pops in like 10 dollars. Since that day, we have always noticed that they dropped the strength on the machine until it is very difficult to win.

To be fair the sushi squishmallow is actually smaller in size than the other ones so it tends to roll out of most claws. Steve's dancing reminds me of that old six flags commercial with the dancing old man 🤣

Definitely a great decision to stop into that place. The only disappointing thing was that I thought the payouts would’ve been better. 😢 Lol their prize room looks like a hoarders paradise!!! And Bob Ross is king!! The man died 20 years ago and his KZbin page has almost 6 million followers!! 🎨🖼️

Did you guys go to the Round 1 in NJ, South of Philly? If so, did you think it was as bad as we did? No UFO games or mini claws, just regular/big claws.

We skipped going to that location because we had heard the same thing you are saying. We will probably still visit that location at some point but we were short on time and had read several negative comments. We really wish all Round 1’s could be somewhat similar so that everyone could win and have fun. Maybe someday lol thanks!!

@@ArcadeRising1 The funniest part about that location was the MEGA CRANE ZONE sign just inside the entrance, and an immediate escalator to disappointment. The R1 in downtown Philly was pretty good though! Cheers!

From the area, and from what I heard New Jersey has some strange amusement laws that prevent them from having the UFO claws with ping pong balls and other strange win conditions. Always had to go a bit further out of the way in PA to play some UFO claws.
