I've had a fog machine stored in my basement for years so now with your help, I'm going to dig it out and FINALLY have a creepier cemetery display. Thanks so much, friend!

This is the easiest diy cooler I've seen!

you can also use frozen ice paks whih we keep a half dozen different sizes in the freezer which is better than fridge ice cubes. No leak or water.

That would probably work in a warmer environment. Where I am it typically gets pretty chilly at night so the ice packs only work if the ambient temperature is above 32°. The thing I like about the dry ice besides the lack of melt and mess is that it absolutely will chill the fog to ground hugging temperature.

That’ll definitely help when trick or treat happens on a chilly night.

Very nice, I like the Dry Ice does solve the water-ice melt issues, been there and done that! But Lately I've switched over to this, a pond mister based on this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHPVpnWdmah5jKM The theory is that the fog sinks because it takes up the moisture in the air and makes it more dense... So that's another explanation to how to make low lying fog.

The ultrasonic builds are a lot more expensive so they are not for everyone. They do work a lot better for sure! The old ice chillers are still a good way to do it super cheaply.

@@OakLaneCemetery I did the water ice for many seasons until I got tired of it... mostly the problem was it wouldn't last me the night and I had to keep filling the ice... The ultrasonic mister + fog, for the hassle free is worth the cost to me... but we all start somewhere and that's where I started.... I always wanted to try the dry ice fog... It seems like fun too 🙂

@@raymitchell9736 Same here. Having to only run the ice chiller for a few nights because of the ice only lasting for a few hours before melting was a pain. Dry ice goes even faster and costs more. Now I can run it every night if I want and don't have to do anything other than flip a switch and refill the water every other night. Game changer.
