I use a length of railway line off the back of mine....I’ve made it that when you lift the disks up full night the rail line lifts off the ground so you can just lift the whole implement if something gets stuck in the rail line. Dead cheap, dead easy. Your log works fantastic mate, good job, thanks from Australia.

logs worked great behind disks here for the old timers. did a great job of breaking clumps.

Hi, thanks for the video, Just wondering what would be the best implement to use for bumpy but flat ground? just to make it smooth again, but not for farming, it will eventually have a house on it. same set up as you used or maybe harrow? or grader blade? Thanks in advance

That works pretty darn good. We used to use 7ft harrows behind our plow and packer.

It's an inexpensive option for low budget farmers lol

So do you cultipack before you seed or after you seed, in gonna try this, ty
@dehavenfamilyfarm3 жыл бұрын
The seeder I used on this field has cultipackers on it. After seeding, I rolled it too. Thanks for watching 🙂

Hi, I noticed that your disk is throwing a mound in the middle, you can move your gangs on the back apart some more. You have all kinds of room to do that. It will help with that mound it's throwing up.

That's why I finally bought my cultimulcher. The log looks like it works good and a lot cheaper lol
@dehavenfamilyfarm5 жыл бұрын
It does a good job in certain field conditions. Your cultimulcher will work better. But, your right, my log was cheaper!! LOL

@jonstevensmaplegrovefarms37545 жыл бұрын
