That cradle came out awesome! I have a whole collection of engines, but they are precariously perched on random carts, dollies, and shopping cart bottoms. It's always fun to get one out and play "is the engine going to fall off and kill me."

It was so surreal watching a new video that I had somehow seen before. The possibility of losing my mind or maybe a glitch in the universe being involved were equally troubling. A re-upload had not occurred to me. Imagine that. A beast who would steal welders from you is also troubling, while we're on the subject.

I was wondering about that back spot. Glad you stiffened it up. I imagined the ends spreading as you try to bolt the engine on. Guess how I know! Yeah. Good move.

I used to assemble side by sides of a certain prominent outdoor brand for wholesale clubs that came in crated from China. You're a considerably better welder than the ones who welded the frames for those vehicles. I'd trust your welds much further!

Faye I heard you say what the 7m-ge head should be torqued to because the factory torque was insufficient to keep head gaskets from blowing and I can't remember what video it was and I watched the whole supra saga Playlist and didn't hear the recommended torque for the head bolts. Can you help me out with the info plz
@FayeHadley2 жыл бұрын
It's going to depend! To make it last the longest, you're going to want to use ARP bolts or studs and the torque that you'll use is on the ARP package. Are you using factory or ARP bolts?
@gamezxtrem33482 жыл бұрын
@@FayeHadley after I replaced the head gasket all I had was the factory head bolts and I found around 85ft lbs for those and after I torqued everything in 10ft lbs increments to 85 I ordered a set of ARP head bolts.the ARP bolts came in 3 days ago and im waiting for the weekend to get those installed. Atm the supra is my get to work car.
