CHEAP Ebay RC BAIT BOAT? |Unboxing|First Impressions & Test With Deeper Chirp+

Hey thanks for staying tuned for this somewhat different video style for me, I hope you all enjoyed the quick video where I unbox and test out probably one of the cheapest most efficient bait boats on the market today. That’s right you heard correctly, it’s roughly £100 off eBay with a carry bag and charger remote and other accessories. And Ive used it now for a few good months and even managed to catch my first ever double figure Zander using it. Not saying it caught me the fish but it certainly helped. People say the hopper doesn’t release the rig correctly or whatever but I’ve found no issues at all so long as you keep the line tought the rig will sort its self out on the drop. Long range (without deeper attached 150+ yard couldn’t see it lol)
One handed control.
Drives in a complete straight line without fighting with the controls.

Can use for dead baiting at long range and even live baiting as you will see in my next videos.

The hopper is attached to 2 strong spring loaded pins which is attached by 4XM4 nuts but I found it to crack after a few uses, told the company I bought it off and they sent me another hopper free of charge. After getting this I made a strip of nylon and made a layer of superglue on the backs of the plate and has no issues what so ever since.
I wouldn’t recommend taking the boat out past 100 yards with the deeper attached as it starts to loose connection with the boat for some reason. (Antenna interference perhaps) but works perfectly ive found without up to around 150 yards I’ve taken it just to test. I could barely see it lol.

Looks a good bit of kit, expecilly for the money, even if it lasts 12 months, still good, whats it like when replying the rigs do u get many tangle's.or is it ok with them

Right piece of kit for the money dude. I had it flip on me the other day in a really high wind was stupid of me to send it out really, it was upside down for 24 hours the Balif got it for me the following day and it still worked to our amazement! And no mate touch wood, bit of rig foam no problems what’s so ever

I've had one for 2 years now bought a bigger battery 12000ma. Alot better.. I've got deeper arm but currently braving it to mount it into the hull of the boat obviously it will have another antenna on the boat

Thanks mate! I’ve tested it to 120/140 yards have trouble seeing the thing past that! 🤣 touch wood had no problems with it apart from when the deeper is connected I find it looses signal at range often with it connected which is isn’t the best

Hi mate, great idea about the modifications as my boat is having the same issues with the hopper splitting. I’ve ordered some silicone to reinforce the same as you did. Can I ask if you had to buy longer bolts after fitting the strip as the ones on my hopper look like that will be too short. If you did have could you tell me the size of the bolts you used? Thanks for any advice and help.

Some great ideas there pal what was it you used to attch deeper. I got a go pro bracket mounted on the rear of mine but carnt drop the rig at same time

Thanks mate, I made a Wire trace with an quick clip connection yes I find having it connected tho I loose connection with the boat at range think the two arias might interfere with one another I don’t know

Hi mate, not mines been spot on since the mod. You need to contact them ask them for a replacement hopper sending out as your brackets have broke or whatever. They should send you one free of charge. Buy some resin glue or super glue and just fill the back plate up as much as you can where the metal brackets connect to the plastic if that makes sense?

Also on top, but I made a strip of nylon fit as well mate and glued that in place also hasn’t moved an inch since. Touch wood hope this helps bud

Thanks mate, so you basically got a new hopper put a strip of nylon onto the back of it then screws it down with some adhesive foam on the back for ahick absorbing? Will give it a go pal thanks

@@martynmilward9729 I put the strip of nylon on top and glued the back of the plastic hopper where the hinges are that spring it forward. Fill the full back plate with super glue and it will make the plastic from 1MM to about 3MM if that helps? It’s hard to explain. But if you fill it with superglue both sides I’m sure you’ll be rate 👍🏼

Yea the deeper app mate, the depth sounder is not built in with this boat
