I've bought myself a cheap bargain spot / stud welder dent puller for just over £200 from eBay to help remove some of the dents in my Crafter TGE van,
this is the one I bought
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224450759072
this is just a quick unboxing and test to see what's included and how it works, hopefully we'll get to see it in action on the van soon

It's not grounded properly. Clamping the ground doesn't work you need to fuse the tip to the panel screw the ground to meet the panel where the tip is fused and the welds will be much stronger when you pull the trigger 👍

Yep or you can switch out the ground to a magnetic one which works great as well.

At the beginning, if the machine is not adjusted correctly, you should use the "AUTO" mode, spot welding head, the hotter the welding, the weaker the welding.

thanks for the comment, i'm getting better with it but there is no auto mode unfortunately, it worked well repairing the rear door

Does it work as a spot welder? No videos about that!

its not really built for that as far as i know, the carbon rods that come with it are meant for heat shrinking and seem to work well

Why did you not check the manuale before trying to demonstrate ? Why buy a tool before you know the basics of its operation . It is the end you use, not the side .

Hi John, there was no manual with it and i do know what it should do but its a learning process the same as everything else, i used it quite successfully to repair the rear door in one of the other videos and was only using the side to try and weld the earth on

I have the same problem, I never hit it, it makes me super angry, it doesn't work, I bought it because a Latino always watches using it in his videos, I had used a snapon and nothing to do with it, I think the tips are the problem because if it heats up Okay, but it never hits, stupid machine 🤬🤦‍♂️
