Norway seems a lot like Switzerland, wealthy and luxerious. Even the Mitsubishi service lifts have their sound effects enabled. That’s classy! In the netherlands the chimes are only installed on the most expansive versions, I’ve seen a lot of Mitsubishi’s without the SFX.

11:00 I was very intrigued by this lift. It's probably either a Fortuna or Wisbech which were both domestic brands and long since gone. It is still possible to find a few original lifts with the same fixtures however this seems to be a very early example. We should probably put Heritage Elevators on the case!

Hydroware and schidnler have a partnership were Schindler use hydroware logic for their hydraulics nowdays (especially for hydraulic 2400 model). that partnership goes back to when hydroware were founded back in 95 as former DEVE engineers broke off from Schindler to found Hydroware as Schindler wasn't fully interested to implement the hydrowere tech in their range when MRL was around the corner... Hydroware had an exclusivity deal with Schindler for 10 years before they could supply their tech to anyone else and being a "generic" controller.

That old lift at 11:10 is a very old Kone, perhaps from the 1940s. Several Kones from that era have been found with that indicator.

If someone started following me *just* for filming a lift, I'd at one point engage with them but make it look like I only see them as interested and not suspicious then go on about how fascinating lifts are (especially the differences from city to city) and drop in that I'd never surf one if it was appropriate. If I can convince them that they've wasted half an hour following a ditsy tourist around then I see that as a victory.
