Good list. But a couple of inaccuracies. 1. University of Rochester costs roughly $80k (not $60k) before financial aid if you include room and board and other miscellaneous expenses. 2. I definitely recommend international students take a close look at University of Minnesota-Twin cities. Great university, hifh acceptance rate, reasonable cost of attendance ($45,000 including room and board and miscellaneous expenses) and offers reasonable scholarships for international students (usually around $10,000 per year).
@Royalbob1232 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the information. So with scholarship it works out $ 35,000 per year ? Total 4 years cost will be near to 1 -1.2 Cr or more ?
@alextabet92472 жыл бұрын
@@Royalbob123 That is correct. With scholarships, Minnesota usually adds up to $140k over four years. Minnesota's engineering and business programs are excellent...especially Chemical Engineering.
@Royalbob1232 жыл бұрын
@@alextabet9247 got it. Minnesota university sounds good. Thanks. looking for computer science engineering in a nice and affordable university for next year.
@alextabet92472 жыл бұрын
@@Royalbob123 you are not going to find many better deals among the top universities, unless you can secure a generous scholarship, or unless you qualify for need based financial aid. But in general, attending a top US university at a price tag of $30-$40/academic year is a good bargain. Georgia Tech, which is a top 5 college of engineering, will run at about $50k/academic year, so that is a relatively good bargain too. While not as affordable as Minnesota, it is also a better program. Naturally, as Crazy Medusa points out, for students with real need and excellent academic credentials, schools like Columbia, MIT, Princeton and Stanford can end up costing students virtually nothing...but getting into those universities is not a given.
