As someone with a grandpa that has had hearing aids my entire life (24 years), I can say with confidence that anyone with bad to severe hearing issues will not want to deal with having to charge them every 6 hours or so since most hearing aids last for days. I understand the price differences and I think this will be lifechanging to those who are just starting to have hearing loss, it would be great if them getting FDA approval and some market adoption allows them to really focus on a way to get ones that last much longer. not sure if that's possible with current hardware, but it was just the first thought I had when thinking about someone like my grandpa trying to use these instead of his current ones that he has had many issues with because hearing aids are very scammy which suck.

7:06 - just a small correction, the AirPods 3rd Gen already had the force-sensor, this is nothing new for them - they're just still lacking the touch sensitivity for volume control only AirPods 1 & 2 were tap-based gestures

In most of the Middle East and South Asia, Apple Maps doesn't even have point-to-point direction capabilities. Most of the banks are not compatible with Apple Pay and some of our countries don't even have official apple stores only resellers.

Snazzy, great analysis with in-depth information when you need it, but digestible for general pop. Great video again! Best in the business

@ 13:28, Yes it is actually a button. Mr. Mobile did a Q&A with apple execs and they definitively explained it is a tactile switch with a haptic sensor built in on top of the button.

Audio playback through speaker is software. The beta opens adds it to current watches. I have a stainless Watch 8 that doesn't have a single scratch and I wear it 22 hours a day.

Agree that this is a very solid looking base iPhone. The iPhone 15 felt like a terrible idea, this looks great. Sad that the screen isn't 120 HZ with always on and that the USB speed is 2.0 and not 3.0

AP Max has buyers and updating the plug is a fine update. Apple has priorities and overhauling this product doesn’t make the cut. I see no issue.

I'm glad 3D touch is returning to at least one thing, even if it's not on the whole screen anymore.

Guy from Germany here. I wanna add we don't get AI either this or next year in the EU. The upgrades are even less relevant with the 16 with that for us. I am switching to a 16 Pro but my 12 is 4 years old and at 75% battery. Honestly the switch to Android is becoming more attractive every generation..^^'

The Visual Lookup feature isnt really that pie-in-the-sky, considering some of its features (e.g. the dog breed thing) already exist in the Camera/Photos apps

AirPods Max colors are just for the iMac to match. If you look between the first series and the new ones each iMac has a matching color now.

Definitely doesn’t make me want to upgrade my 12. At this point I’ll just buy whatever is cheapest as a refurb.

Love my AirPods Pro2 use all the time as a hearing aid. They saved me over $2000 on buying a hearing aid and I was easily able to upload my audiogram so it works really well.
