I’ve never really used a sketchbook before a painting. Maybe I should get one. 😊

I have a different experience. Prelim done, draft done, problems worked out....and I've lost the initial spark and am actually a bit overdone or tired of the project. So if theres a way to capture or re-capture that wonderful initial excitement, I haven't found it. Maybe just jumping in and patching up the oopses as i find them? (Except the design and perspective stuff which gotta get done) Ideas welcome.

Hey JC… I would split the difference… maybe limit yourself to one sketch. See what your gut tells you. Fix what you find in that first draft, on the fly and just GO FOR IT!
