Tbh I'm insanely intrigued by the IEM design and the name alone lol, and like imagine having amazing sound AND design at the same time in the same product.

10 out of 10 no drama but cool looking IEM, does the "half open back" design improve anything ?

It doesn't really do much to widen soundstage, mostly there to look cool and slightly leak noise lol

What are your thoughts in regards to this IEM when compared to Truthear Hexas? I currently have those and are tempted to get this as a second pair but I'm not sure if i should rn..

Hexa has a warmer sound compared to Yu Xuan Ji. Seperation and detail retrieval wise Yu Xuan Ji edges out a bit. However, if you want a more noticeable upgrade I'd say jump to a higher price tier.

A little wider then usual, how much depends on the IEM you're comparing it too The IEM with the most vast soundstage I've experienced is the Sony XBA A3 and Z5. This is concerning soundstage width. You should also consider soundstage height in combination with width, combined to create imaging which often times will help musical element placement have a better sense of space

@@lumeri0n Hey thanks for your response! I apologize for this late reply, but thanks for letting me know! I personally have the Tangzu, PR2, and the Pula PA02. I mainly do music production and honestly I prefer the soundstage and Imaging of the PR2 and Pula over the sennheisser 6XX which people tend to assimilate with "wide soundstage" and "good for music production." I did also notice that in AliExpress they promote and marketize these are great for music production which is why Im intrigued. I know this is a more niche question but since a lot of poeple have a pair of 6(50/XX)(or similar) I will give it a shot: IF you've tried the Sennies or Pula perchance, would you think these pair of IEMs will give me a better representation of soundstage for mixing and casual listening? Yes, the nozzle is a bit shorter then usual. There were no fitting issues for me, and the nozzle holds on to longer eartips fine, but if you prefer an IEM with longer nozzles you should take it into account

The Zero red has a bit more bass presence and is comparatively more neutral, but for my preference the Yu Xuan Ji was the more fun and exciting choice. Seperation and resolution wise I feel the Yu Xuan Ji is superior

The EW200 is brighter, with more upper midrange energy (at times even more then ea500) The Yu Xuan Ji has slightly higher bass presence and can show micro-details a bit more Looks are subjective but I'll give the edge to the Tangzu IEM

No, they are harsh compared to Yu Xuan JI. EW200 is proper bright, while Yu Xuan Ji is netrual or bright-neutral, just slightly towards bright. I am treble sensitive and i did not like ew200 at all. I believe with Spinfit cp145, Yu Xuan ji will become much better for sensitive people.
