When you were describing the upper mids/ treble of the Yu Xuan Ji my mind went immediately to the Wan'er. The Wan'er sounds great but there is something in it's upper range that is fatiguing for me even with small bore tips. So, the Yu Xuan Ji is a definite no go for me. If I buy another Tangzu it will probably be the Fudu Verse 1 or the Xuan NV. Great review as usual!

Tangzu hit gold with the Wan'er driver, and I think they don't know how to improve it on budget sets without entirely changing the driver tuning. I feel like for this set, they just increased the treble a bit and called it done
@AudioAmigoReviews3 ай бұрын
I think you might be onto something, they had a new driver, and tried to address the main criticisms of the Wan'Er: Build Quality and lack of detail at the top end. They fixed one, but went too far with the other. I wonder what would have happened if they just tried to recreate the Wan'Er tuning but with this new driver. I might EQ it to find out.
