Cheap Kiteboarding Hostel on Fiji Island - 4K VLOG 171

After a second failed standby attempt to board a flight to Tarawa to visit Chuck (plane was once again overweight due to another very large shipment of fish apparently), I was stuck in Fiji for another week. After returning to my hostel dorm in Nadi, I was feeling and apparently looking rather defeated. I heard a voice from across the room yell out, "are you sick or something man?" Turned out to be the voice of Glen Baker, a professional kiteboarding instructor who teaches the sport in Squamish Canada. After obsessing over his surf foil setup for kiting, he offered some lessons at the beach which I happily accepted. We soon became friends and saw that there were going to be good winds on an outer island group of Fiji known as the Yasawa islands. I found a cheap hostel on one of the islands and researched how to get out there by ferry. The promise of another adventure at hand quickly cheered me up, it wasn't looking so bad to be stuck in Fiji for another week after all!

looking forward to you getting to chuck and your house been following this adventure since you first got to Kiribati. i am curious as ive noticed these videos are filmed in the past and your kinda catching up. where are you now is my question have you managed to get to kiribati during this orchestrated mess. one day would be nice to smoke a joint on fanning with you brother saving for a boat seems will be the only way to leave uk in the future.
