The people in Brazilian favelas are the nicest, most respectful, humble people you could ever meet. I am an American and bought a house in Jacare, the 2nd largest favela, and i don’t even have to lock my doors. Believe it or not the favelas have a code of honor where, theft, robbery, $exual Assault and “touching” minors is totally unacceptable and violators get dealt with by the community. As long as you know SOMEONE who lives there or respected there you are VERY SAFE!
@Gorgeous4937 ай бұрын
That's exactly what makes them dangerous, the " as long as you know someone" part. If a place sees a stranger and immediately feels the need to harm them because they don't anybody there?! Just stay away from there. I say this will all due respect. I'm in SA, born and bread, and I would not dare go to the Cape Flats without "someone known there" because Cape Flats are dangerous just like the favelas, simple as that.

The only place I've visited on this list is the Cambodian floating village (#16 at 8:20). There are a couple of floating villages in Cambodia you can visit, but this particular one shown in the video is called Kampong Phluk. A ticket for a boat ride may be a little more expensive compared to other floating villages but still a neat experience to be able to cruise on Tonle Sap Lake. You can even catch the sunset the edge of the village if you go at the right time, making it a nice sunset river cruise. Just don't buy anything that they offer you. Not even if they claim its for the boat driver or for the children of the village. Its just a tourist scam. Other than that, its a nice place to visit.

I would do anything to live underground like the people Coober Pedy! It must be amazing. I have always wanted to build a home underground or live in tunnels. I know I’m weird, but it is something that intrigues me lol.

Some of these places is awesome and some are a no go for me. The Temple on the mountain wall is awesome. I am in Brazil now, and the people here are so nice, it is completely different from America.
